And Joy has officially received her purity ring! I saw it during the scenes with Anna and the kids.

Love the sequencing of these shows; the first one was taped when Jana and Jill were in Peru, the second in April. The scene at the school was April 10th for crying out loud! The episode literally went BACKWARD in time.

I may have seen the Spanish lesson pop-up wrong, but if I read it right, 20 hours of Spanish TOTAL ain't that much. Even 20 hours apiece for the older kids is one month of ebil escuela publica.

Maybe, or it might just mean she won't marry because what fundie guy would want a girl who had given away pieces of her heart (gag me), not to mention one as motivated towards learning as Jill appears to be.

Also, I noticed the 20 total hours of Spanish lessons too. I mean obviously that's more concentrated in the older ones because they don't seem to send the kids until they reach a certain age, but still. Also, I would just like to say that I'm glad they send the kids to a native Spanish speaker for the lessons rather than trying to learn it from J'chelle - or more likely, one of the older girls like Jill.
