Looks like the audio Bible is not on anymore at least when she is making videos.

Yes, I think at some point Andrea mentioned that they don't have it on in the kitchen/living room any more.  Maybe it was in a comment on a video.

I was hopeful that since Grandma Fern is now living in an assisted living facility that Andrea and Tom would buy her house for their family.  It seem like a nice big home with a large yard.  There was a lot of living room space.  I don't know what the bedroom situation was at her home but it had to be at least 3 and I'd bet they are bigger than the current ones.  But I believe Andrea mentioned the house was being sold.

It is crazy to me that they don't have his office someplace in town. Taking up a ton of the house that is already to damn small for that many people.

Has anyone watched the two most recent Christmas videos? One is a 2+ hour video of all their Christmas events leading up to Christmas, and the latest video is their Christmas day celebration.

I had to laugh when she had to make a trip to Walmart on 12/23 and was concerned that the store would be too busy. It was empty. I've always wondered why there's no traffic in the parking lot of their monthly Walmart trips. She explains that they live in rural Wyoming in a town with a population of 1000. Oh, so that's it!

I am amazed at how much Andrea plans, and gets done. At one point, the family goes to a Dollar store where each child picks out a gift for one of the other children. They go home, and each child decorates a brown paper gift bag. Andrea calls each child into her bedroom one by one, where they package up the Dollar store gift in the hand decorated gift bag. It's so much extra effort on top of everything else she has to get done for the holidays. Every time I'm amazed at how much more she has done, something else pops up on the video, like when they go to a relative's house who has a fire pit, and Andrea brings a thermos of home made hot chocolate. It boggles my mind how much she gets done.

She also sewed backpacks for 3 of the little girls (they look very nice, and well done!). On the other hand, the children didn't look terribly excited to open their Christmas gifts, and it appears some of the older children didn't care for their gifts. Their oldest son received a crock pot so that he'll learn to cook for himself when he's out on his own. He's currently 16-17. Another son seemed unenthusiastic about receiving a box of items to help him start his own lawn mowing business. Some of the gifts seemed like things the children actually wanted (like the boy who received a switch and another little boy who received a very nice set of drawing/painting/coloring tools), while others seemed like they were gifts that Andrea wanted them to have. Even her happy, good-natured eldest daughter, Eden (8? 9?) , didn't seem overly excited about the essential oils kit that Andrea put together for her (something Andrea said she would have loved to have at Eden's age).

I buy my kids a mix of things they will love with things they need or I think will be practical for them. I don’t buy them a lot of gifts for Christmas because they get plenty from extended family. However she has to understand that kids will want at least one thing for Christmas that isn’t practical.

Agreed.

I thought it was odd the way the kids didn't seem excited even when they were sitting there waiting to open their gifts. Maybe they get enough things throughout the year that more gifts aren't that special? Frequently, when Andrea is making her monthly Walmart trip, one of the kids will ask for something, and she'll put it on her list. So, maybe there isn't necessarily that anticipation for Christmas gifts (although the young boy who wanted the switch had to wait until Christmas for it)?

I also wondered if it was tough to buy for their oldest, Thomas, because he may not have time for hobbies. He's either helping his father, tending to the younger kids, homeschooling, or working his job at the grocery store. I really wish for him to have a bunch of high school aged friends to hang out with, and do whatever.

I'm a full grown woman and I'd probably cry if my parents gave me a $30 crock pot so I'd learn to cook more and someone else got a $300 personal gaming console.

Yup, there was clearly a divide between "You are still young enough to play" and "No fun for you, onto adulthood!".

What exactly is she supposed to do with an essential oil kit? Play with oils? Start an mlm business as a child? No wonder the poor child was disappointed.

What does one do with essential oils?  Not put it in your car.  Cook with them?  Use them as part of a massage?  Burn them like incense?  Why would any 8 year old need them?

To share them with a mummy who couldn't justify buying them for herself with the Christmas budget?

It reminds me of the time Homer bought Marge a bowling ball for her birthday.

Oh my goodness, I'm cracking up over poor Eden's face when Andrea is explaining "now you can make your own ointments!"

What a perfect gift for  9 year old- an endless supply of ointments :D And then her face when the "girls gift" was all Barbie toys. I have a feeling she's aging out of her Barbie years. I bet she would have loved if that big black case was full of art & craft supplies or a jewelry making kit.

Poor Tom Jr too- they couldn't even get him an instapot, they had to get him an old fashioned crockpot. I think they showed it in use for family dinner later in the video, sort of seems like another gift Andrea got for herself. I'm trying to think of what sort of things I got at 17 that a boy would like too. I know it's a hard age to shop for since it's not a "big" year for major purchases (like being 18, where you might get a new laptop for college) but I know I was really excited to get things like a new puffer vest or camping equipment. Hell, at 17 I'm pretty sure I would have loved getting a pair of  jumper cables or a battery pack/air pump for my first car.

Asher is pretty endearing- I liked his crack about getting a box full of coal, and even though his grabbers weren't the hottest gift for a 15 year old, I think they'll be one of those sleeper hits as he discovers the power he now wields to annoy others with them.

I almost feel sorry that Andrea only got a pack of Clearly Canadian for Christmas.

My 16.5 year old nephew gets gas cards from us. His truck is a gas guzzler and he’s always wanting to go here and there but has to buy his own gas. So he appreciates gas cards.

Recalling my childhood experimentation with my mother's perfume, an essential oil kit would be the last damn thing I'd give an eight-year-old. Kids that age are not known for their restraint.

This reminds me of the 6-piece luggage set that my mother got me for my last Christmas at home my senior year in high school. She's a deeply practical woman and I still use that luggage set to this day, but man was I disappointed.

Justus bought his own Nintendo Switch a few months ago with money he had saved up.... it was in a video.  For chirstmas he got screen protectors, a sleeve to put it in or somthing, and a case with his name on it.

A 4-piece set of luggage was my parents' high school graduation gift to each of us kids. I'm the youngest of 4, so I knew what to expect way ahead of time. Now I wonder if my oldest sibling was pleased or disappointed.

I do have to say that adult-me enjoys the "well, my work here is done...pack your bags" symbolism to giving a graduate a luggage set. :pb_lol:

I was watching a video on Jamerrill Stewart's channel and saw that Andrea Mills posted a comment.  It is a pretty interesting one, see the screen shot.  We know that her dad (technically her step-dad, Grandpa Gary) has some kind of sexual charge on his record - could she be referring to him?  Or is it someone else?  And who is she referring to that "causes her a great deal of stress"?  Inquiring minds want to know.  This was on Jamerrill's video posted 2/25/19 called "Answering Assumptions About Me".  Jamerrill revealed on this video that her father committed suicide when she was a teen (13 I think) and she was the one who found him.  I couldn't get all of Andrea's comment in the screen shot, it cut off this part, " Maybe it's just best to speak the truth in love and let the consequences be what they are.  I don't know."

If its the step-dad then its definitely yucky and doesnt look good now that she is becoming more "famous" as she puts it because we know she lets him around her kids.

I'm not sure if anyone else is still keeping up with the Mills family, but I saw this post earlier today (text under the spoiler for people who don't want to click):

Spoiler

Hi guys, this is Tom, Andrea’s husband. Andrea has had a lot of abdominal pain lately. We took her to the doctor a couple times in the last couple weeks, but they didn’t really know what was going on. We came in on Saturday and they transferred her to the ER, because although we haven’t told you yet, baby number 10 is on the way! She is 13 weeks along! They took an ultrasound and saw that her gall bladder was inflamed, so they decided to take it out Sunday morning (today).

When they were taking it out, they saw that her liver looked funny, and that it was the primary cause of her pain; although the gall bladder did need to come out. They are going to fly her to Denver to see a liver specialist, but there are storms in Denver right now, they are hoping perhaps around 5pm we can get going. We will try to keep you updated. We’re not the type of people to just throw our drama at the world, but I wanted to ask for prayers from all of you, it would be much appreciated.

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16

Baby #10 and liver problems?  Yikes.

Yes!  I saw the update that Tom gave.  On the video of their trip to OK this summer (or maybe just in written updates on YouTube {not sure what to call those}, she said she had been having stomach issues.  Many people suggested it could be her gall bladder.  I admit I was a little suspect of a pregnancy even though the spacing is kind of close for her.  But she knows her time is running out for more kids.  She turned 41 this summer.  I know they are nutty and have weird beliefs/practices but I sincerely hope she is ok.  She has 9 young kids at home who really do depend on her. She lost her mom at a young age to lung cancer.  Also, hopefully Scamaratin will be good about paying their medical bills.  A flight from WY to Denver is very expensive - probably $30,000 or more.

Tom updated to say they made it to Denver and saw a specialist.  She will get results of a liver biopsy today and will have an MRI.  Wonder if all of her herbal concoctions had a roll in her issues?

Lisa Pennington’s oldest daughter just had her gall bladder out while pregnant. My sister started having gall bladder problems while pregnant too. Pregnancy can exacerbate gall bladder issues. Yet another reason why these people need to use birth control.

I've been wondering the same thing!  I don't know much about medicine, but her insistence on using essential oils and herbal supplements could be a contribution.
