If physical appearance and the natural ageing process are part of that, then why have we seen Duggar kids get braces? Where do copious amounts of aquanet (ahem, JimBoob), fake tanning, and home perms fall in terms of acceptance of natural appearance? Also, Michelle must be very lucky as I'm not seeing grey hair yet, and Jim Bob's helmet doesn't seem to be thinning out. Is the natural ageing process being kind to them or are they intervening with God's plan via hair dye and transplants?

I go to a MOPS group, and while it is based out of a church and has some Christian themes, their mission states specifically that they are inclusive of different religions and orientations (among other things). Definitely not a nationwide mops thing.

Lots of people are defending her, but it’s really good to see how many people are calling her out on this too. 

I wouldn’t be surprised if he choose to leave over the news. If he did then at least he doesn’t appear to be burning any bridges by publicly blasting them. 

He hasn’t announced what employment he has lined up at this point.

This is off topic but when I think of the name Tom Harmon I think of Mark Harmon’s dad.

I’m a little late to the recent political debate drift, but I’d like to take a second to express appreciation for this thread. I was an admittedly naive voter who thought Clinton would seem more appealing to republicans over Sanders (I now realize how very wrong I was). This has made me more aware of what others have been thinking about pre and post election. I may not agree with everyone and that’s ok, I much prefer political debate here rather than on Facebook (which is so biased and reactionary for the most part). Carry on!

I tried the slow cooker chicken mole recipe that Jill plagerized from chowhound.com, and it's delicious. If we ever have an FJ potluck, I'll bring some.

I hope I'm wrong, but my money is on Dan leaving scouts because of the changes/name change. This is purely speculation, based on Jill's comment on the waterfall picture that has an unhappy face when referencing the job change, but it wouldn't surprise me given who he's related to. Either way, I hope someone in Dan's branch of the family has a job with benefits - esp with the baby coming, and that he doesn't follow big brother's grifting example.
