FBI raids Michael Cohen's office

Since the stable genius was so smart on F&F and blew their cover story by saying Cohen only did a tiny, tiny fraction of his legal work, they had to come up with another spin. So of course Cohen is now being thrown into the fire and made out to be the bad guy who hoodwinked the poor widdle pwesidunce.

Did you notice they have an article headed "Trump passed polygraph proving no Russia collusion!"  :pb_lol:

Anyone know who Thomas Gassnola, aka TJ, is? Because he just plead guilty in the Cohen case...

A quick google search resulted in this article from February 24:

WMass AAU program director T.J. Gassnola named in NCAA men's basketball FBI probe

What this has to do with Cohen, I have no idea, but the Big Cases Bot has linked it to the search warrant of April 9, so there has to be a link somewhere.

Does anyone know who this Michael London is? Because he just sent this (unintentionally) hilarious letter to Judge Wood.

The only Michael London a google search resulted in is an 81 year old film producer.

It appears to be someone in Taiwan, assuming that the return address and phone are real. (Why the heck don't they redact those?)

Good catch!. Do you think it could be an alias or a troll?

I googled Michael J. London, and found these:

Michael J. London & Associates - Public Relations for Fairfield County ...

and

Michael J. London - Biography - IMDb

Cohen's taxi companies include Mad Dog, Smoochie, Golden Child and NY Futon.

Futon? Smoochie? Are we sure that this is taxicabs?

If Stormy got $130,000 and Cohen got $420,000, either Cohen got himself a hell of a deal or there are lots of porn stars.

It seems the volume of money Cohen had at his disposal is even more voluminous than we knew. If what Seth Abramson surmises is true, it will be one hell of an endgame for Mueller.

More potentially damning news on Cohen. Here's Seth Abramson's elaboration on the mini-thread I posted above.

Obvious question:  If the FBI taint team discovers clear evidence of criminal activity in Cohen files NOT related to the original scope of the search warrant, then what?

It will so piss me off if Cohen gets deep sixed by the Feds, New York AG and CA AG and Trump walks free.  No really, it will.

Anyway, it seems that there may be some smoking guns after all, but will it ever trace back to Trump?

Well, I should think it will most certainly trace back to the TT in the end. Never fear.

If Cohen were to flip (and he will, he's too much of an opportunist and focussed on self-preservation not to) he will bring all the goods on the presidunce. And don't forget, Flynn flipped already, Papadapoulos flipped already, and Gates is also cooperating with Mueller. Then there are the people we don't know about yet, that also have flipped already. Priebus, Spicer, Omarosa. And with Kellywise seemingly defecting (she's stopped following repugliklan pundits and Faux and is now following Seth Abramson and other resistance tweeters), it's all too possible she will flip too.

There are way too many people who know too much. The presidunce is going down. I am convinced of it.

When Dumpy McFuckface talked of draining the swamp I don't think that what is happening now was what he had in mind. He didn't want his own swamp creatures to be chucked out of the swamp. He (imo) envisioned creatures with D stamped on their hides going.

He must be scratching his thatch, single brain cell rattling, wondering what the hell happened. Why are creatures with R on their hides disappearing.

I feel the 'drain the swamp' was just a cute catch phrase he thought would get him votes. A marketing ploy.  All he wanted to do was create his own swamp creatures who would line up to kiss his orange ass.

Well intentional or not that's what he has done.

He did drain the swamp. All of the minnows are now gone. Now, all that's left is a bunch of Loch Ness Monsters!

Hmmmmm, perhaps that why hubby George has been floating those anti Trump/Republican tweets.

I still think that the collusion with Russian is firmly rooted in financials, because with Trump, when is it ever not about money?

Interesting times!

Although it could also be a ploy by those two. I wouldn't put it past them. Georgie-boy has his own financial ties to Russia after all. So maybe they're hedging their (twitter) bets, or at least, they think they are.

The one thing they all have in common besides Russia is a decided lack of smarts combined with blinding arrogance.

Useful idiots all.

No, you shit, it's you and your actions that are now ruining your families lives. There would have been no raid if you had been a find and upstanding citizen.

Cohen Distraught Over Raid’s Impact On Family: ‘This Is All Ruining Their Lives’

Quote

President Donald Trump’s personal attorney is reportedly most concerned about how the FBI raid of his house, hotel and home last month is impacting his family, Vanity Fair reported Monday evening.

According to friends of Michael Cohen who spoke with Vanity Fair, Cohen is concerned the raid and subsequent media attention is “ruining their lives.”

“I live for my wife and my kids,” he has reportedly told friends in recent weeks. “I’d die for my wife and my kids. And this is all ruining their lives.”

Cohen has called the situation a “nightmare” and is reportedly struggling as he’s become isolated from Trump and others in Washington, D.C., who he reportedly claims have treated him like he’s “disposable.”

That sense of isolation has increased since Trump’s new lawyer Rudy Giuliani has started making media appearances, spreading confusion and fanning the flames of inquiry surrounding a $130,000 payment Cohen made to porn actress Stormy Daniels just before the 2016 election, reportedly to keep her quiet about an alleged affair she had with Trump a decade ago.

Cohen has told friends that he’s had no peace since Buzzfeed published the Christopher Steele dossier, which made multiple claims about Cohen interacting with Russians throughout the 2016 campaign. Cohen filed a defamation lawsuit against Buzzfeed, but recently dropped the suit after the FBI raid.

Last month, the FBI seized at least eight boxes of physical documents from Cohen’s house, hotel and office, according Vanity Fair. The agents obtained a warrant to seize records related to the Daniels payment and documents about Karen McDougal, a former Playboy playmate who allegedly had an affair with Trump. Among other items, they also seized documents related to taxi medallions Cohen owns in New York and his communications with the Trump campaign.
