Which fundie change surprised you the most?

I thought the were mentioned at least once in this thread. I love Hope Pennington. She's much more gracious than I would ever be growing up in that kind of environment. I love how she always posts stuff on her FB page challenging the bullshit ideas she grew up in and people from all sides chime in. Her siblings and friends who chime in making excuses for things like sexism and patriarchy make my eyes roll so hard. I'm amazed she can still have relationships with them even though they still believe all the fundie garbage. I personally would want to shake them and tell them to wake the hell up. But she's always polite and gracious.
