Honestly if you are looking at a photo of 4 toddlers eating popsicles and Automatically think about child molestatation and have obscene thoughts that’s says more about you than them. Whatever else he

Re: not feeling sorry for Josh about what happened when he was a teenager: Where to begin... I am angry and beyond frustrated that he was not held accountable under the law, the law of the state,

@singsingsing I'm tagging you too, because you asked about this and I thought I'd just clear this up. Apologies for the notification.  What I said and what I meant to say were two different thing

Me three but also very done.

Ah me too! But we haven’t even started. We’re at a point though where we are sick of waiting for ‘the right time’ and will likely start trying in the next 12 month. At 27 we know rationally we’ve got plenty of time but we are definitely starting to feel old :pb_lol:

Million Children For Jesus

Guys, I just played cornhole. I’m at an outdoor festival with a sort-of date. We walked by the cornhole tent, and I nonchalantly said, “oh, cornhole,” like I was hip and knew about cornhole. I’ve never played. We played. I’m not good. I almost hit the lady next to me, and I hit the ceiling of the tent twice. I made it in the hole one time. It’s really fun, even without alcohol, but I’m sure it gets even better with a few beers.

I'll be 39 later this year, had a tubal during an emergency surgery in 2015 so I'm definitely done. My cure for baby fever? Babysitting 3 days a week for the 8 month old son of one of my hubby's employees. I have him like 15 hours total and he is a very happy, easy baby. My oldest is about to turn 18 this summer and I can't imagine being like a good friend who has a son the same age as my daughter and had twins not long ago. I get tired after a few hours and that's only select days a week!

You’re doing it all wrong! Your oldest female child raises all the younger children. You only need to be there for photo ops, and to tell the world about this amazing ‘buddy system’ you have.

Go forth and have eleventy!!!11!1!1 more #littleblessings

Lol not a chance!  This week she has choir rehearsals and she waitresses at a small family restaurant. Next week is the choir performances (2 nights), the art show (4 pieces entered) and *gasp* the senior prom. And my babysitting hours just went up to almost 25 a week! I just need to evolve with some extra arms/hands or figure out how to clone myself!

I survived ... Ish. I'm all moved again, another 1500 miles from where the cats and I were living before. I'm in the new apartment, and kitties are adjusting well. I've only cried 6 times since Saturday! #progress.
By the way, sorry about the summer logo swap taking its sweet time. Real life was a little too much and it got forgotten.

A happy summer solstice to all northern hemisphere FJers! And a happy winter solstice to all southern hemisphere FJers! (I know it's already Monday is Australia, so I'm late for most of you.)

ETA--Oh! I just checked, and the winter solstice is at 1:31 PM on Monday, June 21 in Eastern Australia Time. So, for once the time zones worked in my favor. I'm not late!

I'm so angry at the Bishops right now. Shit like this is why I left the Catholic church. They play politics so blatantly.  I hope this convinces more people to leave.

I have an extremely stressful weekend coming up. If you can spare me and the kitties some good thoughts I’d appreciate it.

One of my siblings has a work related thing coming up where they get to visit a fundie place. Has promised a detailed rundown of the encounter for me and another sibling via video chat. Not that I am jealous or anything….

My grandmother came from a town in Missouri of (now) population ~14,500 and 8 Baptist churches.  Not counting all the other denominations, that's just the Baptists.
MY grandfather came from Drimoleauge, Ireland which has a current population of ~450 people (not a typo) and 1 church and 5 pubs.
If I get a time machine take a wild guess which ancestors I'm going back to visit?  I'm not social, don't enjoy bars, and prefer to imbibe at home but sitting in a pub has to be better than being Godbothered to death by people pretending they don't drink.
Fun unrelated fact - Martin Luther spent so much time on the toilet he had a desk built so he could work there, and would take meetings while actively pooping.   He also wrote letters to people with vivid descriptions of his poops.   That should make everyone feel a little better about their work place and emails.
