Yeah, I don't think they had a particularly happy anniversary. Strange that with all his compulsive twittering that he couldn't take the time to throw out a "...my wonderful wife of 13 years..." tweet. Melania probably asked for a girl's getaway this year. In a foreign country. Just her and the SS guy of her choice.

I would have thought she would ask for a change of address card.

So, Melania couldn't go to Davos because of "scheduling" issues. And those issues? This morning she visited the Holocaust museum. Alone. And then she had a pressing commitment. At Mar-a-lago.

She probably has to wait to bail until her contractual obligations are up. They have to have some sort of deal. I can’t imagine she’s staying with him for anything else.

I think part of the deal was no revelations of unfaithfulness, no public humiliation. She may not divorce him right now but she may disappear. I think she was in negotiation when she stayed in NY. He agreed to something in exchange for her showing up at the White House. She's got the upper hand here, more than half of the country would be fairly sympathetic if she walked away right now.

And on that, Stormy Trooper was on Inside Edition, asked if what the article said was true. She just sat there with a little smile on her face. He asked if she wasn't allowed to say that it happened. Same response. So if she made it up, why not just say so then. She'd still get paid for that interview. And she knows she'll never get another dime out of Dump. It so happened.

So...a guy I went to college with is surprisingly conservative and his family is a major donor to the Trump campaign. He and his family attended NYE at MarALago and my insta feed was flooded w photos from them. It seems that most attendees wore floor length gowns but some mistook it for a cocktail party.

It’s not the only time they’ve been there, and it’s always high drama when they do. But that was the most WTFery in terms of attire.

This is just a rumor, but...

Melania Trump has reportedly moved out of the White House

Quote

Several British newspapers, some of them more respectable than others, are reporting today that Melania Trump has moved out of the White House since Donald Trump’s affair with adult film actress Stormy Daniels was exposed. Melania has reportedly been living in a hotel in Washington DC while Donald was in the White House, before visiting Florida while Donald was out of the country. This paints their marriage as being in even more dire straits than previously believed, after Melania bailed on Donald’s trip to Switzerland at the last minute and went to Florida instead.

We wouldn’t normally be inclined to take papers like the Daily Mail or The Sun at their word. But in this instance their reporting on Melania moving into a hotel closely aligns with what’s already been confirmed about her sudden unwillingness to be anywhere near him. She lived in New York City for the first several months of Trump’s presidency, but she had the excuse that her son needed to finish the school year; this time around there’s no vagueness about why she’s not living with him.

So how does this impact Trump’s failing presidency, and the effort on the part of mainstream Americans to oust him? That’s the essential question from a political perspective. The First Lady moving out of the White House due to marital strife – even if it ends up being temporary – is unprecedented. It would be major headline news if not for Trump’s other exploding scandals. However, this does serve to change the equation on Trump’s presidency.

For one thing, Melania’s response to the Stormy Daniels affair keeps it at least marginally in the news. The longer that scandal holds the public’s interest, the more the media will keep digging into it. That increases the odds that Trump’s secret blackmail payment to Daniels, which was routed through a fake company, might unearth the methods by which money secretly flowed between Trump and Russia. Without saying a word, wittingly or unwittingly, Melania may be helping to expose the Trump-Russia scandal.

As this is based on rumor and hasn't been confirmed, it's only speculation at this point, but I confess to perversely hoping this is true. Not that I wish Melania unhappiness, but her husband? Well...

I would guess the White House is big enough for the both of them living there, not seeing each other more than at official arrangements?

When that’s said, I do not wish her an unhappy life. But she was anadult when sh3 chose to marry his money...

I wonder what is keeping her from leaving him.

Money. It's why she married him in the first place.

And Barron, probably.

Trump doesn’t seem like a hands on father; if Melanie left with Barron, I doubt the boy’s life would change in any significant way. Rather, Trump seems like the type who generally ignores his children, and then claims credit if they turn out well. I remember seeing an Oprah “Where are They Now?” program on Marla Marples about three years ago, and Trump was on there crowing about how smart Tiffany was for getting into NYU even though he barely knew anything about her. I bet if she had turned out badly, he would deny that he even knew her.

Interesting information. While the White House is big I think the living quarters share a common kitchen and living room so if she really doesn't want to see him at all she'd be stuck in her bedroom until 11:00 every day. If she did move into a hotel, did she take Barron with her?

As for why she stays, I believe they negotiated a contract when he got elected that she would not divorce him while he is president. If she did she would probably lose a significant amount of money.

Sadly, his base would probably turn on her and accuse her of being a unsupportive spouse. Then all of the questionable things in her past, that they have hand-waved off up until now, would suddenly be cause to stone her.

And don't forget, she's Catholic.

I would wager their pre-nup is ridiculously biased in his favor. She probably has to agree to stay with him unless he wants to let her go.

My guess is that 12 seconds after he has left the White House, either by choice or not, Melania will be tossed aside for a younger model. Maybe Hope Hicks?

Nope. 12 seconds after leaving she will kick off the high heels, grab Barron and their already packed (but well hidden bags) and flee to a secluded chalet hidden high in the mountains of Europe, all paid for by a mysterious benefactor.

Trumpyfartface Mcsaggy-Bawbag will install a harem of fading pornstars with daft names into his Golden tower and live on a diet of crappy fast food for ever more.

Seriously though, I hope she can ensure that Barron has access to a decent education and steer him away from working for his fathers 'enterprises'.

I kind of suspect her thoughts when deciding to marry Trump were along the lines of "Well, my modeling career is coming to an end, he's known for having affairs so I can probably avoid him a lot, and while he's not as old as that geezer Anna Nicole Smith married he's still up there..."

But now, she may be weighing the potential inheritance against the possible tell-all book and talk show circuit income...

Wouldn't it be hilarious if she has Stormy sitting beside her tonight? Or maybe that handsome young Marine who escorted her during the inauguration? Or both!

I'm guessing the pre-nup (or possibly a post-nup negotiated when she refused to abort her pregnancy) says if she leaves she gets no money and never sees Barron again.

The NYT released the list of Melania's guests for the SOTU.

Spoiler

WASHINGTON — The White House released on Monday the list of people President Trump and his wife, Melania, invited to attend the State of the Union address, scheduled for Tuesday night.

An eclectic cohort will join the first lady: emergency medical workers, service members and faces of Mr. Trump’s tax and immigration overhaul narratives. Here is a preview of who you’ll see:

Official and unofficial emergency responders

David Dahlberg, a fire prevention technician, who saved 62 children and staff members from a blaze-encircled summer camp in July during the wildfires in Southern California.

Ashlee Leppert, an aviation electronics technician in the Coast Guard, who rescued dozens from hurricane ruins. According to the White House, Ms. Leppert operated a helicopter basket that hoisted to safety a woman who was clutching four children at once.

Jon Bridgers, the founder of the “Cajun Navy,” a nonprofit rescue team that served in Texas during Hurricane Harvey. In 2016, Mr. Bridgers founded the organization in response to flooding in Louisiana and continues to collect donations for areas still devastated.

Officer Ryan Holets, of the Albuquerque Police Department, who, according to the White House, was twice shot at during his time as an officer. He and his wife adopted a child from parents who were addicted to opioids.

Service members, and one of their supporters

Cpl. Matthew Bradford, now retired, who lost his sight and both legs when he stepped on an improvised explosive device in 2007 during a deployment to Iraq. After extensive treatment, Mr. Bradford became the first blind double-amputee to re-enlist in the Marine Corps.

Staff Sgt. Justin Peck, who saved a fellow service member after an improvised explosive device detonated in November in Raqqa, Syria. Sergeant Peck was on a mission to clear the devices from territory once held by the Islamic State when a member of his team was gravely wounded. Mr. Peck went to his team member, despite the potential danger of each step, and provided lifesaving medical care on the scene.

Preston Sharp, a young boy who has organized the placement of more than 40,000 American flags and red carnations on soldiers’ graves through a campaign he calls the Flag and Flower Challenge. Preston’s efforts began in 2015 after a visit to the grave of his grandfather, a veteran, when he noticed other veterans’ graves that were undecorated.

Economic success stories in Ohio

Steve Staub and Sandy Keplinger, who are the leaders of a Dayton, Ohio, contract manufacturing company focused on metal fabrication. They founded Staub Manufacturing Solutions two decades ago. Over the past year, the company acquired a new building and saw a 60 percent increase in employees — from 23 to 37. Crediting the passage of the tax law, the company gave large Christmas bonuses to all employees.

Corey Adams, a welder at Staub Manufacturing, who, according to the White House, bought his first home last year with his wife. They will put savings from the recent tax overhaul toward their daughters’ future education.

A spotlight on gang violence and border security

Four parents whose daughters, the authorities say, were most likely killed by members of the MS-13 gang: Elizabeth Alvarado and Robert Mickens, who lost Nisa Mickens, 15; and Evelyn Rodriguez and Freddy Cuevas, who lost Kayla Cuevas, 16. The teenagers were killed in 2016 on Long Island.

Celestino “CJ” Martinez, a supervisory special agent in Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations unit, who functions as a gang hunter. According to the White House, Mr. Martinez’s investigations have led to more than 100 arrests of MS-13 gang members.

The nature of these invitations is consistent with some of the choices for Mr. Trump’s first address to Congress last year.

The State of the Union address will be broadcast live at 9 p.m. Eastern.

I thought I read that he was in agreement with her as to Barron's existence. He would know she wouldn't have an abortion. He's dumb but not that stupid, he knows that both Tiffany and Barron are anchor babies, an assurance that their mothers will always have some financial support.

But I doubt she would ever sign away her rights to Barron. He's not what's keeping her with Dumpy. The last thing Dump wants is to be saddled with Barron.

All of the humiliation aside, she will forever be know as former FLOTUS Melania Trump. She can turn that into anything she wants. Hell, she could walk away from him right now and start a foundation to help children with bullying issues and she would be very successful. I think it's a simple 'You come to the White House and appear with me at events and don't leave me while I'm President, in exchange you'll have lots of free time, and this much money for life.' Dumpy needs her to make his stupid base believe he's a family man and can attract women.

BTW, somewhere in the area of $645 thousand dollars, that's what we paid to ferry her from NYC to Florida and DC while Barron was "finishing up" that school year. 21 trips.
