The fact that Sarah writes the mom's corner is interesting.  I guess seeing as she doesn't have a book project in the pipe, Teri offloaded the corner to her?  Is Teri THAT busy she can't be bothered with writing her parenting newsletter?

Sarah has had a book project in the pipe for some time - apparently another "fiction" book about a Christian homeschooled family. She even went to a writers' conference to help her with it.

But she hasn't posted about it for ages so I guess it's on the backburner now.

"You never know who might be or not be at lunch," she says.

Um, Sarah, that is a flat out LIE. You only ever socialize with your own family at home and I'm certain that you all know one another's schedules to a T.

Thinking of it, why doesn't Sarah ever have friends come to visit her? She has gone places to see friends. Can Teri and Steve not handle the stress of an adult houseguest?

Maybe I misread this, but it looked like Sarah said that one of the food delights of fall was maple syrup candles.  Maple sugar CANDIES are, indeed, scrumptious.  CANDLES, not so much.

So Sarah claims to do bookkeeping for 4 different companies--I'm guessing Titius 2, Brother's company, Brother's Company and the Moody books?

Ever notice how their home has all the amenities of a maximum security prison? Exercise yard (lawn), Gym (basement), classroom (office), Chapel (living room), Mess Hall (Kitchen/dining room)..... Warden.. Steve

Wow! She sits on a ball! Like no one ever tried that before.

FREE THAT CAT!!

Yeah that part really confused me. I mean if you know everyone's schedule then you know who is going to be at lunch. It's not a mystery.

I hope that Ellie gets to run around and play with the little kids when they come over. I mean it isn't as good as multiple walks but it would be something. She does mention an evening walk so maybe Ellie gets to go on that.

Also notice that after 7am we don't get the times that she does things. It does seem like she is doing a lot of things that don't take very long. I used to upload blog posts as part of my job and it really didn't take very long even after I had basically re-written the content that my interns gave me. She doesn't seem to realize that you can schedule posts either. I mean maybe you don't want to do that all the time but you could write several and have them scheduled in advance.

I blog daily. It takes a second. I really didn't understand their Maxwellian approach to blogging. Trying to get ready to sell a new blogging course or something, Maxwell's? Only those totally off-grid would believe it is "hard" to blog.

What an odd post. It started with her day then went on and on about how she writes the blog. (I suppose it was relevant as the majority of blog readers are us) then rushes through dinner, Bible Time™and the evening. I'm rather curious on how they spend their evenings as most people would be either socialising or watching the BEAST. Then again if Stevie is in preaching mode I would imagine Bible Time™ goes over schedule which results in the family spending the rest of the evening resheduling their schedules and Stevie signing them off.

Note the absence of Stud John again.

And in true Maxwell fashion she posts a picture of her pussy indicating she will tell us more about her new friend in a future post. Not that I'm that bothered as I am allergic - in more ways the one ;-) plus the post will never happen - lettuce, pizza cutter?

I'm actually kind of upset - I really felt for Sarah after that blogpost and wanted to write her something nice. Just nice, not trying to push something funny past them or anything.

They have not allowed it through. Maybe to nice and to encouraging? :/

Good catch on John being gone--I missed that. So--another fast courtship?

I commented on a really awkward sentence. If blogging is so dang hard it should give time to proof read.

They are horrible ambassadors for their scheduling products.

They don't write down a list of ideas for future blog posts, or at least keep track of what they said they would blog about next. When I blogged for a company, I had ideas going on months in advance, often connecting with different cultural and religious festivals or events. She can't even jot down "lettuce pizza cutter" as a title header and leave it as an unposted and unqueued blog post, to come back to later; perhaps after the family makes pizza but Terri uses drywall powder instead of flour.

Let's not forget about Terri taking a month to sew on a button, plus thinking that it would be a good idea to advertise that fact.

Steve - You suck. And you taught your family to suck too. Any skills they have are in spite of your suckyness. Did I mention YOU SUCK!

It's possible John is just living a more normal lifestyle and they do not want to admit it on the blog. For all we know he has friends, a job other than the realtor one, or is even receiving some type of training. It's possible he has bucked the Maxwell party line but there were no real consequences for it since he is male. I think the men can go farther from fundy world without the consequences the women would likely face. It's also possible Steve wouldn't throw John out because it hurts the Maxwell story bottom line and maybe the others ("Teri") wouldn't cope with well if John as banned from the family. I would say this for Jesse too.

John and Jesse are seen at family events and on vacation but not as much during the day to day activities. They could have full outside lives and still find time to participate in special blog activities.

I do think it's possible John is just not stuck up the family butt. I kind of hope he is just breaking free from The Steve without even dating. We know that's the easiest way to get away from the family. But if he's actually living a single life away from the maxwells all the time then I'm really happy for him. Too bad his sisters aren't allowed that freedom. Because they just happened to be born female.

We live in hope that John is living a more normal life, (his spirt we are told was hardest to break) but  unless a detective on here finds otherwise we will never find out from the blog.

The Maxwell brand is broken, the conferences have dried up. We were told in the past that once a child reaches 18 they had to decide to go-it-alone or stay under Stevie's headship. We can hope that this stance has loosened.

But sadly I'm sure we will see a "John and John-Marie's sister were married last Saturday" as they are not going to repeat Munk-gate.

When does Sarah get a chance to shower and dress for the day?  I doubt she takes the dog out in her jammies but she's only got 15 minutes until morning B-time!

Poor Sarah.  The description of her day was so sad.  She is wasting her life away.  She has money and she has a license.  I could see if she was in poverty and couldn't afford to go anywhere, but that's not the case.  Even if her father won't let her borrow the car, she could still take the bus and go in town to do volunteer work.  Godly girls should be doing godly things.  Jesus didn't say to only help your family members.  He said to go out there and visit the sick, visit prisoners, help the poor and homeless, etc  An annual day at the fair and and a once in a lifetime mission trip don't put a dent in what the girls should be doing with their time.  If they are as godly as they claim to be, then their days should be filled with helping people.

Steve, this is the time period that God put your family in whether you like it or not.  There is a time to be born and this is their time.  The girls should not be afraid of their own shadows to the point that they can't even do volunteer work.  How could you have bible time twice a day and still not grasp the teachings of Jesus?  Do you have the book of Matthew ripped out of the bibles in your home?  Or is it so important for you to sell things that you need to keep up an image of making your children stay close to you?  I hope that's not the case because greed for money will buy you a one way ticket to hell.  So will taking away their free will.

Speaking of schedules, Teri has 'written' an article since August 1st.  Sloth is a sin, Teri.

She's still sewing that button on.

It is Maxhell, so after the standard diet of bean burritos and the occasional cayenne laced apple pie, eating a maple sugar candle would not be too much of stretch (imo).

I'm sure it tastes better than eating cheese with the wrapper still on it.

Sarah got the idea to journal her favorite Bible verses from Teri's book "Sweet Journey," which is more proof of how insulated they are. (I guess it was also a good opportunity for a product plug.) Do any of them ever get any ideas from non-family members? Also, if Sarah really works as hard on the blog as she says she does, you'd think it would be more interesting. I'm so glad she takes the time to make those pictures of Maxwells cleaning look so nice! And I already said this before, but I really don't think anyone should trash Teri for admitting it took her 4 weeks to sew on a button. (I do think it's okay to criticize her for acting like she's living the only right way.) That just makes people with similar problems (like me) feel like they can never let anybody else know, b/c they wouldn't want others to call them unaccomplished losers. And it's not like she admitted she likes to torture animals or something. It's just a button.

!?!?!?! OK, that woke me up... her cat. She posted a photo of her cat.

For a moment I thought Maxhell had gotten unintentionally very interesting.  First coffee, then read forums...
