I have a feeling Stud John saw through Griselda Teri and Coward Steve's bullshit early on and as a result he rebelled and is sort of on his own career wise...real estate agent and irrigation business provided its still viable. He might have an IQ if 180 but we will never know thanks to the SOTDRT.  Or maybe he isn't a real estate agent anymore.  https://www.zillow.com/profile/KansasHomeForYou/

He is still listed as an employee on the real estate company's web site, but no sales in the last year according to the zillow link?

You can't support a wife and 15 blessings on that.

I remember we had discussed in the past the fact  that he calls himself a Master Electrician and a Master Plumber (It's  mentioned on the zillow link which is why I'm bringing it up).  I think we discovered you basically just have to pass a test in Kansas to call yourself those things.

It kind of pisses me off a little.  My husband is a Master Electrician, but in our state he had to work under an electrician for 4 long years, doing lots of grunt work at the beginning, and then pass a test before he could call himself that.

I don't think I'd want someone who only passed a written test playing with my electricity, even if he does look like hot John.

Wow.  No sales in well over a year.  He was doing pretty well there for a while too, even at 2.5% split commission as a buyer's agent.

"Military Relocation Specialist."  I'd forgotten that.  Of course in Maxwell-speak that probably means he acted as buyer's agent for one military family total.

Either he had to deal with too many women in real estate or they ran out of people they know IRL who wanted John as a real estate agent!

I wonder how much demand there is for his irrigation services.  Perhaps that really means installing sprinkler systems in lawns these days.

Swift Otter and the book sales must be doing really well to support the whole Maxwell family.

Kansas isn't doing well economically. People that can afford to are moving away and very few people are moving there. That could account for his lack of sales.

I have to admit that when I think of Leavenworth I think of the Maxwells, the Federal prison, and the military base, in that order.  Rather apt, really.

It may be the prison and military base that keep the town employed.  Except for the Maxwells.

And to think that the prisoners in the jail get more freedoms than the unmarried Maxwell kidults D:

What is Christopher going to do when he has 12 kids? Surely crappy photography can't pay THAT much that he'll be able to feed and clothe and homeschool his kids. Something's going to give, but will we hear about it is the question? Of course not, but a lady can dream.

I didn't bother keeping up with the Maxwell blog over the last month, but boy, there's some good stuff in there.

I'm completely convinced that Jesse is engaged and getting married soon - maybe in August some time. On July 3, Sarah and Jesse spent some brother sister quality time together, with Sarah saying, "For those of you young people who have siblings at home, treasure each moment. Make opportunities to create special memories, for you never know when times will change!"

And then on July 8, Jesse posted about a trip that he took with John to go backpacking for a few days. He says, "We knew that with our work and the rest of life, we needed to simply schedule a trip or else it would never happen." That's a pretty definitive statement for two unmarried brothers living in the same house...

John has been doing some traveling lately and may have his eye on somebody, but I think Jesse is up next. Haha, I'll be checking their blog daily now - I'm expecting to wake up to a "Congratulations Mr and Mrs Jesse Maxwell" post!

Anna could always start making soap again.

I think NR Anna is just being matter of fact.  She seems to be in a good place:  stable marriage, approval from her almighty FIL, producing #5 (as opposed to all of the untouched daughters of Steve, who are collectively producing #0), helpmeet extraordinaire, blessed with relatively easy pregnancies and deliveries, doesn't have to dress up as Lolly, and has help available with a phone call.  Within the domain of that family, I believe she totally has her act together.

That bit made me burst out laughing. Yes, that would definitely be in my top 10 reasons to be content!

Yeah, buying a house debt-free can only take you so far when you get to the point where your grocery bill exceeds a normal person's mortgage payment. I suppose they have enough room in the backyard to grow some of their own food. They could also keep chickens like Nathan's kids do. But still, that's not enough to feed a dozen kids every day.

Now, now.  Christopher is not just a crappy photographer.  He is also Swift Otter's "Resident SEO expert. Project Manager. Quality Assurance."

Swift Otter has updated again with a video by Joseph. "Lead developer. Conference speaker. Passionate about customer success."

Keep your hands still, Joseph.  So distracting!  You keep tripping over the words in your script.  And the grammar!  "Before I introduce ourselves ..."  :confused2:

Ok folks, please snark away!  I know nothing about their business. I'm so ignorant I don't even know whether I should be impressed that they are all "certified" and do 150 hours of continuing education a year.

Some of the kidults cleaned green stuff off of their parents' house and Sarah made a blog post about it.  Watching people do random house chores is just a waste of cyberspace.

I just noticed that both Nathan (wonder what he is doing) and John's irrigation business have been dropped from Swift Otter.  It's beginning to look almost like a professional site.

I wonder about their liberation pledge.  If you want desire to change providers they will ease the transition with a long process billed at their normal hourly rate.  What if you don't want your transition eased?

Sarah says, "Dad figured it would take bleach and using our old bus brush to get it off."

Palimpsest figures that it would be better to hose down the siding regularly with soapy water.  Bleach isn't good for the environment or the foundation planting.  You can get a gadget that fits on a regular garden hose for the soap.  If the algae or moss was that bad then they could have used a pressure hose.  You can rent them.

Sarah says, "Jesse and the girls offered to tackle the project Saturday. I loved watching the transformation! "

Palimpsest quotes, "I like work: it fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours.”  Jerome K. Jerome.

But, but, but, how else will we learn that they took initiative and that everyone was blessed?!  :kitty-wink:

That was painful to watch. He looks a lot like Nathan. Jessie and John somehow managed to not look creepy like the rest of the sons.

As for the green stuff, we have had that happen at our house. Maybe ours was not as bad, but a regular brush dipped in soap water cleaned it super easy. No bleach necessary.

I wonder if Sarah is aware that even non-christians and non-Steve-followers, actually take initiative and clean their houses, exercise, make meals, etc.

I don't use anything but water to scrub the algae off of my siding. My husband is weird about chemicals in our yard.

However if you want to use something, blue dawn dish soap works fabulously. No bleach necessary.

Under the 'projects' page, I noticed they took down the reference to their Titus2 website.

They are also using Youtube to host/advertise their videos.

:omg:

I can't remember... what is it that Nathan does for a living?  I noticed he isn't on the swiftotter site.

Computer stuff.

The Maxwells are rebranding, redesigning their web pages, and shuffling faster than we can keep up.  Their family businesses look like a shell game!

Nathan still works for CCI (Formerly Communication Concepts, Inc.)  http://www.cciteam.com/#services

Here's Nathan's resume on LinkedIn. https://www.linkedin.com/in/nathan-maxwell-3128a513/

Not me. I'm too busy lying all the time, and preying on people at the airport, to get any chores done.

Ha!  When your first business is your other business's satisfied client, when your business partners endorse the other family business partners, and you write your own reviews for your own products, it all gets rather meta.

I don't think that video is hosted on Satanic Youtube.  I'm not seeing the youtube logo to click on.  I could be wrong.

So I took a quick look at Nathan's LinkedIn and this paragraph stood out. That's some serious trump-level word salad.

As having previously taken the CASP exam, I can highly recommend it. And now, with being a part of the exam update process, I can even more so say that it is a great test and worth the time investment to prepare for.
