Yeah, I remember when he was just a little guy, too. According to the Thomas blog, his birthday is in December and I'm pretty sure he's turning 22. (In Jordan's latest blog post he commented, "Pretty sure this is the first year they're all adults," on a photo of the Thomas siblings.) So I guess he is old enough to court. Melanie turned 29 in May. Matthew is the other one who isn't courting as far as we know and my reasoned guess is that he turned 27 in September.

He did turn 27 but I have his birthday listed in late July.

It's not totally clear that his birthday is actually in September; often the Thomases do like Jordan Niednagel and make blog posts recapping the events of the previous month. But the post from that year recapping July doesn't mention Matthew's birthday, and the August happenings post from that year also doesn't mention his birthday, so it could possibly be in September.
