Where in the World Is Doug Philips (Who Is a Tool)? Part 5 Defrauding the Entire World?

Josh turned 24. When someone on Beall's Instagram post called him "gorgeous," Beall replied (specifically to that poster), "Sigh." Um... okay?

Well, she did fall for his father.

And in so doing, took leave of her gawdam senses, so a little son-worship doesn't surprise me.

Remember Cousin Judith Starkadder's crush on her son Seth? Yep.  Like that. Down to the feverishly insane preacher-husband.

That sounds like something Zsuzsanna Anderson might believe

Well, mercy me - the "DW Cinematographer/Phil Douglas" FB page seems to have disappeared completely, at least for me. I wonder what's gotten into him??

I just tried to find it and it's disappeared for me too.  He must have gotten busted by Beall and/or has already gone on to his next personality.

I'm still seeing it--under the Phil Douglas name-- but it's almost totally scrubbed clean. Only half a dozen posts and almost no comments. It won't surprise me if he doesn't post there again. Another account will show up soon, I'm sure.  :my_dodgy:

Ah, DW Cinematographer was a brief and shining moment!  And more importantly, so snarkworthy!

That said, I'm rather glad to have been introduced to that simply amazing European subculture that celebrates American music and dance from a very specific time period.  It's high energy and athletic and is what inspired my mom and dad's generation.

Beall has a new photo up on her public Instagram of her and Honor, and she says, "After 3 weeks on the road, we are HOME! (Texas home, that is, and only for a week and a half)..."

But they don't still own a home there, do they? I wonder where they stay.

Yes, and interesting that Beall and these kids went in search of her heritage. When, if ever, in VF Era did Doug permit or countenance they speak of HER heritage or ancestry. This part of their trip is subtle but not to be missed.  At least this half of the kids got to see there's more to it than the recent Harvard grads and remotely related WW2 uncle (not to take anything away from his service, but to make the point that DPIART rarely, publicly acknowledged, much less pointed out anyone's history/connections/ancestry but his own).

Wherever they went after the big yard sale.

PhilDoug, I know you'll appreciate your good friend's re-imagining of the Last Supper. Be sure to show it to Beall. Oh, and your Catholic relatives, too.

Well, DWT, your post count is "Taking Porn by the Horns!"  Awesome find!  Any Phil Doug fans still out in the world would certainly clutch pearls while on the way to the fainting couch if they see that. Love the matching Dutch-cut wigs.

Beall's Instagram has a pic of the son who got a job on an Alaska fishing boat -- on the fishing boat. It's on. Good for him.  He should have a nice amount in the bank account when the season is over.

He might just never come back.  I sure as hell wouldn't.

Voddie Baucham revealed that he has been suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease for quite some time.

Sounds like the Bauchams have been hit with a bunch of health issues since moving to Lusaka.

I was a bit sick myself while reading his web site.  IMHO, Voddie teaches some horribly toxic stuff, including child discipline beating, and now he's teaching others.

It's probably Satan. He's on the same continent as John Shraderm after all, and we all know how much Satan loves to mess with Christian men in sub-Saharan Africa.

The move to Africa was an astounding act of hubris and so poorly thought out. Really, a major fuck-up on all fronts, from housing to health to whatever his job is supposed to be at that fake university.

Very sorry that some of our worst American talibangelicalism is being inflicted on African citizens who didn't ask for Voddie's shite, much less needed it.

He's still traipsing around, apparently. I don't see his name or any obvious reinterpretations of it on any official pages, so I'm guessing he wasn't paid for this ...?

Phil Douglas? Honestly, with all this crazy name-shifting and gallivanting, is there something wrong with him? Is it just personality disorder, or mental illness? R both?

There really is something a bit unhinged in all this.

I think it has more to do with him wanting to completely erase his VF past and all of the scandals associated with it. Plus, it's unclear what his religious beliefs are, if any, at the moment and he doesn't need bad publicity from irate former VF followers.

It's highly likely that he never had any religious beliefs and that VFI/VFM were just a money-making scam.

You may be right about the former VF sheeple -- DPIART is smart enough to figure he might want to fleece them again some day, so don't alienate them completely.
