Really loving this thread drift. Especially from my sick bed, it is making me smile and forget about feeling miserable and awful. 

Most of my favourites are posted already. But no Channing Tatum yet? I'm picturing him now with the cat from the scene in The Vow movie, topless of course. Wish I could post pictures, that would be a good one for our collection.

I live in Alberta, even our current NDP government is pro-oil. As much as I wish Canada was less oil dependent, it is all baby steps to the right direction. And, although I lean very left politically, I realize it is unrealistic to jump from a Conservative government to that. Trudeau is very moderate, which is probably what Canada needs right now. Polarizing a country doesn't seem to work well. 

And thank goodness we are looking better on the international stage again. I much prefer our peacekeeping status to the the war hawks that was the conservative party. 

Ugh! May we never ever have another Steve in power.

I grew up in Canada. When I moved to the States, Obama was president and Steve was PM, so it seemed like a good move. Now I'm stuck with the Cheeto creep, while Canada is enjoying Prime Minister Sexy Pants. Sigh.

I can also verify that are  Scientologists in Canada. There used to be a Scientology center near the record store I went to. There was always a sign out front offering "free personality tests." No thanks.

I absolutely LOVE Panarin!! Saw the Hawks play the Wings in Detroit, sat 9 rows off the ice and was practically drooling on myself. His number shirt was my Xmas present this year.  Out of that rookie class Dylan Larkin and Anthony Mantha are cuties too. Took my son to meet them about a month ago.

I was not  expecting all of this when I clicked this thread. This is great haha! My husband teases me about my Idris Elba love (though I think he has a man crush on him anyway).
