In a 2015 radio interview the Duggars said that they used Covenant Eyes but Michelle complained that certain apps that the boys installed on their smart phones were capable of bypassing Covenant Eyes and other internet security software. The discussion of it starts here:

Thanks Bethella! Of course the Duggar's found Covenant Eyes insufficient *Eye Roll*. Certainly not as holy as GOD! It just frustrates me, as how can you trust a male to lead his own household if he can't protect himself from porn!

Did anyone see that Krista announced that she no longer considers herself a Christian? I actually never saw that one coming...but she says "I still believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ. But I don’t know how I can keep identifying myself as a Christian. I cannot be part of this anymore."

Her name is Krista Gay.  She is/was a friend of the Duggars while she attended John Brown U.  She helped out at some of the weddings and was seen in photos hanging out at the TTH.  I think we first became aware of her when Derick hit the cat with the sled.  She was defending him on FB.
She went off to law school in NYC and I guess has been re-thinking her beliefs?

I did not watch the video, but I did read the article.  No way it's an accident, especially since he was overheard before he started out telling the cat to move.  What a piece of filth.

Definitely not an accident.  You can tell from the video that he was targeting the cat, and you could hear Jill cackling in the background when the cat ran for its life.  I remember being horrified that these two were about to be parents, and it really changed my perception of Derick.

I’ve only read the list, and 1st and last pages of the thread. If you are still open to suggestions @Bethella I think Raquel Duarte might be worth adding due to her behavior on her 1st “Mission Trip” to Peru in 2016. In her blogposts of the trip she had pictures and described herself sleeping in the same beds as some of the minor boys in the orphanage she was volunteering at, and kissing them on the cheek.

Is there any indication of actual abuse? Or was it just inappropriate? I'm not 100% sure it rises to the level of being included. Does anyone else have an opinion?

While Raquel's behavior was certainly shame-worthy, I think it is probably better to keep this list limited to church leaders, criminal cases, and high profile cases.  Otherwise it will just get too long.

Is it too much to hope for that he gets sent to the regular population?  There is no excuse for what he did.  I am not normally a violent person, but I have a very clear understanding based on my on experiences and I have zero sympathy for him or others who do that.

Did anyone else see krista's blog post about the trans gov candidate in Vermont? Reactions?? My problem with her is that she lives in the grey with everythign controversial...she can't ever say whether she is for or against something. but still a step for former fundie.

Bumping this to say that former hotshot youth evangelist and Winter Olympics pastor Acton Bowen, after months of proclaiming his innocence as charges of molesting young boys piled up, has now pleaded "not guilty by reason of mental disorder" to his 21 sexual felony charges. If only there was a "the devil made me do it" plea, he could have used that.
