Talk of Scottish "Free Presbyterians" elsewhere reminds me of a woman who emigrated from the USA  to the Scottish Hebrides to become a submissive farm wife. She was a staunch Roman Catholic and fairly candid about her husband's bad attitude in the early years. IIRC she'd had 2 children. Cannot for the life of me remember her name nor blog, but am curious how she's doing (I hope she's doing well; couldn't help but like the character)!
