I cannot stand her, can we please send her to another planet?

My Dad is also one who thinks Obama was a Kenya born Muslim.  He told me the other day that Mark Cuban was upset with Trump because Mark wanted to be the vice president. I cannot talk politics with him at all.

Did you ever ask him why he thought those things about BHO? I don't know anyone IRL who felt this way, but if they did and I knew it I would certainly ask why, since there is absolutely no evidence he was born in Kenya or was a muslim. Actually, the evidence proved otherwise. I guess it's an alternative facts thing, something I will never understand anyone with a rational mind giving a moments thought.

Nope. Those nails look too good to be Kellyanne's. Which raises the question: Do her nails look as bad as they do because she's taken over responsibility for the White House vegetable garden but Michelle stole all the official garden tools and the gloves leaving KellyAnne to scrabble at the frozen ground with her bare hands? Or is that just the crusted blood of her enemies under her fingernails?

If she's attempting haute couture, she could have put on those press-ons.

Actually, I had a pair of Ivanka's shoes which I loved. They were one of the few pairs of heels I own that stayed on my feet and were comfortable to walk in. I fully admit I have abnormal feet though! :pb_lol:

I was sad for a whole minute when I threw them in the trash after the election.

Out of curiosity I looked up Ivanka's shoes. To be honest, I would probably be okay with some of them if they weren't designed by her/not priced so high.

I hope I don't now anyone IRL who believes those things, but then I've avoided most of my relatives for the last years. There was a FOAF who I knew only through Facebook (until I blocked the bitch) who insisted that Obama was born in Kenya, a Muslim, and a communist. When I tried to point out to her that the second two were mutually exclusive, and that she has seen photos of a clean-shaven Obama drinking beer, eating pork, and generally engaging in non-islamic behavior, she wasn't having any of it.

Sadly, I know several people who were heavily into those alternative facts.

He's black and has a funny name. Not so much Barack as the Hussein part. I mean, how could you not be a Muslim with Hussein as part of your name. PROOF! Right there! And hey, his father is  from Kenya! PROOF again! Why being Kenyan means you're a socialist Muslim, I don't know, but there it is. And if you still aren't convinced, well he went to school in Indonesia, and it was a radical MUSLIM school. He was indoctrinated. Doesn't matter that it was only for twoish years. That indoctrination is fierce.

It means absolutely nothing to them that the only 100% true part of any of this is that his dad was from Kenya. You can not argue with these people. They are so convinced of their alternative facts, there's no room for reality. They think I'm the deluded one. We don't talk much anymore.

I had some facebook friends had beliefs like this that I mostly knew from a church I used to attend. Trying to talk any sort of reason into them was futile. You can't fix stupid. It is like they have stuck their heads in the sand and won't listen to anyone.

@Ali and @AnywhereButHere, I just thought I'd give you one of my favorite quotes by Elizabeth Gaskell. Boy, does it ever describe out political climate today, as well as your friends and family, as you describe some of them.

Maybe Trump and Company need to make this the slogan of their administration.

" I'll not listen to reason…reason always means what someone else has got to say."- Elizabeth Gaskell, from her book Cranford.

"How Kellyanne Conway became Trump’s spin-master". Best part:

Quote

Listen to almost any one of her interviews, and you'll hear a phrase along the lines of, “What the president was really saying is. ...”

But sometimes, what that really means is, “What I wish the president had said is. ...”

She's Trump's explainer-in-chief.

She needs to explain herself right out of Washington.

The Conjob on the Today show, trying to hold on to her alternative facts about Flynn's resignation (and failing miserably).

"Kellyanne, that makes no sense!"

She is really losing it. I've never been a fan of Matt Lauer, but I'm glad he called her out.

I've finally figured out who Kellyanne reminds me of.  Anyone remember Drop Dead Gorgeous?  She reminds me of the girl who won the pageant the previous year and is currently a patient in the eating disorders unit.

She looked like she wanted to bolt. Usually she is pretty good at deflecting, but in this situation it is hard to get around the fact that the president let a guy he knew was at risk for being blackmailed by Russia have access to important information. That is a major, major failing on his part and it is very difficult to spin it into a positive.

Listening to Stephen Miller made me laugh hysterically for about five minutes. Good thing I was home alone.
This is just absurd. I can't even grasp the stupidity of "wall will pay for itself".

Stephen Miller makes Kellyanne seem super, super personable.

Dead eyes.  At first I thought he must be a love child of Steve Bannon, but apparently he crawled out of the digestive system of Jefferson Sessions.  I think he needs to be held accountable* for his claim of "evidence" of yuge voter fraud in New Hampshire.  Loved Colbert's "I'll call you a liar to your face" challenge.

Off to contact a zillion people to hold Stephen Miller accountable for his claim of voter fraud on a massive scale in New Hampshire.  So many liars, so little time.

*I know, I know, no accountability in this administration, but ever the optimist.  :tw_dizzy:

So, we have to have some members from New Hampshire, want to tell us about all the buses bringing people in to vote?! :laughing-jumpingpurple:

Do you think that she'll be able to last speaking all the lies as Trump's counselor?

No, I think she'll burn out soon. That is, unless she has actually become one of the walking dead and is now devouring the tiny brains of Agent Orange's administration members.

She is falling to pieces before our eyes, no way she will make it too much longer. The stress is written all over her face and this can't be good for her health.

Kellyanne looked like a walking sleep deprivation experiment today, like maybe she's subsisting on caffeine and No-Doz in massive quantities.  She's in face melt territory.

This is priceless: "Kellyanne Conway Tweets ‘Love You’ To A White Nationalist, Then Claims It Wasn’t Her"

Quote

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway sent a warm Valentine’s Day tweet to a white nationalist Twitter user on Tuesday ― and then deleted the message, claiming she didn’t know who had access to her own Twitter account.

It was far from the White House’ worst moment this week, but it added to the impression of confused bumbling.

Earlier that day, Conway had appeared on NBC’s “Today” show dodging questions about the resignation of national security adviser Michael Flynn. Host Matt Lauer told her she was making “no sense.”

Conway tweeted in her defense that she “serves at the pleasure” of President Donald Trump and “his message is my message.”

In response, Twitter user Lib Hypocrisy praised Conway for her “strength & resiliency in face of vile hatred, bigotry, & sexism of the unhinged Left.”

“Love you!” Lib Hypocrisy wrote.

Lib Hypocrisy’s Twitter handle features the green face of Pepe the Frog, a well-known symbol of the white nationalist movement. The related account bio lists the hashtags #WhiteIdentity, #Nationalist and #GeertWilders, a reference to the virulently anti-Muslim Dutch politician.

Conway nevertheless retweeted Lib Hypocrisy’s message and wrote, “Love you back.” She also wished her “hapless haters” a happy Valentine’s Day.

When contacted by BuzzFeed, Conway blamed her tweet on someone else, saying she didn’t know “who had access to my account.”

“I denounce whoever it is,” she said, calling the tweet “terrible” and saying she would delete it.

“Everybody makes mistakes,” she said.

The tweet was deleted, but not before it was preserved in screenshots across Twitter. Conway had also “liked” the tweet by the Lib Hypocrisy account and has not yet un-liked it.

There are screenshots in the article. I guess Kellyanne doesn't understand that the Internet is forever. Also, you should be careful who you "like". Oh, and protect your passwords so some unknown person can't access your accounts.

So we all know Kellyanne is lying about someone else tweeting that. But how does it make her look better to have people believe someone working inside the White House is so careless that they can't even keep their own twitter account protected.

Either way she comes off looking like the giant moron that she is.
