All these cat pictures are making me happy!  Here is Charlie at the top of his 6.5' cat tree.  he's kind of giving me the stink eye because I woke him up......

When we fostered a litter of orphaned kittens, they needed names.  My daughters had named them after characters on HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban: Padfoot, Prongs and Moony.  I couldn't remember which kitten was which though and so I called them after three still scrambled Jumble words:  Ingard, Snorpi and Whyso.  Whyso was quickly called Whyso Hard to Feed? because he just would not eat.  Ingrid unscrambles to daring (which suits him) and Snorpi unscrambles to prison.  Snorpi was not named after Sirius Black though.  Snoop's HP name was Moony.  Ingard was Padfoot (which fits his big fluffy feet!) and little Whyso was Prongs.  Like James Potter, Whyso also died early.  Ingard is now called Tom and he belongs to my daughter's family.

Snorpi sounds vaguely Scandinavian which works because he looked like a Norwegian Forest Cat.

My sister in law put her Christmas tree up the other day.  Which of course means TK has a new favorite spot now in the house.

Didn't even want to come out to greet me when I stopped by this evening....

Most of our cats would climb the tree when they were kittens and a few even liked to sit in the tree like TK.

A human-sized one would be pretty sweet & not at all silly.

You get one for your guinea pigs & I'll get one for my snake. However, they won't be riding together.

I had a large gift shipped to my brother's place so I wouldn't have to worry about my mom finding it before I could wrap it.  I stopped over to get it this evening.

Amazon shipped the gift inside a larger box, I took it out of the larger box.

Someone was happy for a while tonight because she got to have some quality box time tonight!

Of course TK didn't get to keep the box for very long, I broke the box down so we can take it in to recycling.  Oh well, she has lots of other boxes to play with.
