You speak (well, write) English beautifully. I'm sure if I tried saying anything in French or German it would come across a thousand times worse than any typo you may make on here.

If you're not allowed to pursue higher education or get a job, I suppose having anything to fill your day that's your own (and not your parents'/siblings thing) must seem exciting. If marriage is where they can get their first taste of individualism (even within the confines of their beliefs), I wouldn't blame any of them for getting married ASAP. 

I also thought, perhaps Joy is thinking, crap this leaves Jana & I to care for the 6 or 7 youngest kids and all the nieces and nephews when Anna, Jess & Jill drop them.  Marriage and living on your own, AWAY from TTH would be the best thing. Jana has some freedoms she's allowed to come and go BUT someone has to be home to babysit the lost girls.  Joy will have to "earn" that freedom and it could be years before Boob and  DQ allow her that, getting married will give it too her now.

And getting married makes you an instant adult in JB/M's minds, even if you get all your money from them, drive Duggar provided cars and live in one of the Duggar's  structures. Plus, per Jessa's IG, if you live close enough to Duggarville, you can park yourself or even just your kids at Duggarville and someone else becomes responsible for them.

this 1000% I wonder why this is considered ok - and no humpers say anything - or even calls her out on it on instagram or facebook. 

and she doesn't even hide it - basically again Spud is interchangeable - so she rests and has others look after her kid. 

in her life she did the thing she had to do - yet has instant care - it's not real

Well, it certainly isn't life in the real world- and Michelle KNOWS that. How can they think they've prepared these idiots for life in the "real" world? There is no way. If these adults and married adults had to provide for themselves, work , feed themselves and their offsprings, pay for utilities, clothing and all forms of needed insurances, AND FINALLY, TAKE CARE OF THEIR OWN DAMN KIDS, they'd ALL shrivel up and die. Dollars to donuts there would be a surge in BC use by everyone once or currently named Duggar!!!

Michelle may be there - but she clearly isn't in the sense that the little ones are taking care of Spud... 

as in pictures Michelle is away with JB on a much needed vacation it seems a lot of the time- and since Jesss has no other hobbies in her life - she goes to her parents house because what is she supposed to do - clean her house....

How about:

taking some online classes and expanding or laying down a knowledge base

or taking some Cosmetology classes

or parenting classes

or cooking classes

or volunteer at a soup kitchen

or taking some foreign language  or music classes

or Mommy and Me

or getting a real estate license

How about doing something that allows and prepares her to be a contributing member of society?

Heck, motherhood and homemaking are her vocation, but it seems she's not really interested in those things.

In their current states, the 2nd generation Duggars are basically useless.

I do think the Duggars are between a rock and a hard place. If they show they're doing something charitable, then they're bragging. If we don't see it on TLC, then we assume they're doing nothing.

But hey, that's what happens when you pimp out your family. No sympathy from me.

MEchelle does and doesn't know that, she's been mired in this BS since her late teen, and honestly I think she checked out mentally after she lost Jubilee, and then being told pregnancy was pretty much out of the question for her anymore she just shut down.  You can really see a shift in her behavior with the kids between the time of losing Jubilee and when she was still popping out kids. She was much more hands on when they were all younger.  Then there is she's been raising kids for nearly 30 years and she's 50's she's got to be tired. But I also think there is some serious depression that hasn't been dealt with  She would NEVER consider medication or therapy other than to pray it gets better, but her hormoans were swinging wildly for over 20 years and she never really had a recovery time between kids/nursing to let everything adjust. It will be 5 years this December (yes I googled that) since #20 died, but she went from pregnancy to pregnancy to peri-menopause, the average age of menopause is 51 she's almost there.  

TL;DR I think Michelle is depressed, and has been for about 5 years, she was never truly allowed to grieve for Jubilee, and they never talk about her.  She has to keep sweet and be there for her sex crazed asshole of a husband.

I don't mind the showing so much, if it isn't shown as in HEY LOOK AT HOW CHARITABLE WE ARE! I've heard of celebs that do charity work but don't put it out there, but it gets out anyway, either they quietly "leak it" to press or a fan who say it does, that doesn't bug me as much as when they show up with camera crews to broadcast to the world that they spent 15 minutes signing autographs and posing for pics. You know the celebs that are big into charity, they do a lot of it they will promote a charity and what the charity does, not what they do for the charity.  If the Duggar's did that, like when they did that flea market for Arkansas Children's Hospital, that was a nice gesture, they raised a lot of money for a charity that helped them a lot, and it wasn't fake. Not like the food drive they did for the cameras and then took the food back after the cameras left.

I think the only Duggar daughter who knows how bad it was to have 7 kids under whatever age is Jana and that's why Jana is still single.

Jill seems like she lives in the clouds, so probably was oblivious to the hardships of Michelle and Jana.

Jessa was a headstrong horse that could not be broken, so I think Michelle turfed her to JB's to control.

Jinger was born just a couples weeks before Jana's 4th birthday- too much time and distance for Jinger to be relied on to help out much.

And Joy...Jana was a couple months shy of 8 when she was born- heck, even Jill had a buddy or 2 by then.

Other than Jana, none of the other girls realize what life is REALLY like with a new baby every year and NO REAL ADULT help. 

And JB still did sort of work until 2004- so lots of baby and lots of work at home primarily for Michelle and Jana.

No J'slaves, no FT unemployed husband, no grandparents and eleventy aunts and uncles to help out.

Jana knows and is avoiding it all together.

I think Jill got a taste of it with ONE KID and no help when she was parked in CA...maybe the reality of that is slamming against those beliefs and making Jill realize it's all BS???

Sure it's smooth sailing for Jessa- 2 adults, no jobs, Duggarville and J'slaves within spitting distance.

It's all so unrealistic.

Yes! But if I were Jana I would panic a little bit because of all the children staying in NWA after marriage the children will get dumped at the TTH to Jana again. She is avoiding having her own children but she will constantly have to care for her nieces and nephews from now on with Jill , Jessa and Anna living nearby or even IN the TTH. It will be 7 nieces and nephews by the beginning of 2017, if not 8 *urm* in february or march. Mackynzie is what 7 years old? That would make 8 nieces and nephews 7 and under. For Jana it could be even worse than before because one of the three married duggars living nearby will always dump their children there. There will be no break for Jana.

Jana, look: You've avoided marrying early (around 20) and by doing that have avoided maybe 5-7 children so far. but by now your siblings are breeding like rabbits and you will be the first person they think of when they try to dump their children for a "get-away-weekend" or a date or a vacation or, in Anna's case, getting away from a cheating husband. I would give this situation 1-2 more years before it gets too much, by then it will be 10 grandchildren or more. If "person right" doesn't come along within the next few months I would definately try and discuss with JB or trick him , idk, into some business or college in little rock or something. you can do it Jana, I feel so sorry for her.

I'm wondering if he will allow for a sacrificial child or two to bring back ratings? You know throw a couple of them to the wolves for $$$ sake he's got 17 or 18 more to do his bidding.

JB is going to have to find a place to secure steady income. His family (well actually his cult) is growing, which he has encouraged. He can not remain stagnant in the earnings column. He could if the kids actually did leave and cleave. and took care of and provided for their own, but then he loses control.

He needs to find a steady money stream, either that or kick those adults (and their families) to the curb. They'd all be welfare (well, the Dillards could figure it out, but boy would they be miserable living in the real world. They'd probably all leave for places outside the US.

I don't think they'd find it weird.  Michelle got married at 17. Joy is right on time if this is real. 

And not to make too fine a point on this, but what is up with the boys? Not one of those boys can find a girl friend?  (Other than Smugger...) They have to marry off 19 year old Joy for ratings?  How about forcing John-David down the aisle?
