Church training your infant

Good sermons are focused and get under your skin. Not by yelling and shouting and kicking, but because the preacher makes you laugh, cry, doubt yourself, feel happy and sometimes all of it. I am really glad that I found churches (the church in my hometown and the church I attend where I live now) that have preaching like that. It can be challenging and tough, but it is so worth it.

Catholic Mass has homilies rather than sermons, usually 10 minutes (15 minutes at the absolute max). based on day's Scripture reading. My parish's priests have always been inspired, related the reading to life  and how we can use, apply, etc. that piece of Scripture daily.   As Ophelia said it gets under your skin and makes you think -- and then act.
