Her mother didn't start it but she posted on it and was a big part of why that thread blew up. It looks like her posts were deleted but posters start responding to her here.

That is a complete mischaracterization. It was a really dangerous situation that had lasted days. Her own mother wanted to call 911 but was afraid to do so and was being kept from contacting her daughter. No one that I'm aware of called the police on someone simply for having a home birth.

BTW, this isn’t a fundie thing. I swear people of all walks of life do this as new parents. And then reality sets in. I always shake my head when I see new parents posting this kind of thing on FB. Hopefully Silas doesn’t beat his babies like a lot of other fundies.

I really hope they aren't applying some of these to a baby. Telling a newborn to shut its mouth and not throw tantrums makes me wonder what they would do to a baby that cries.

They don't appear to entirely believe Planned Parenthood really does anything but abortions, though a prolife leader "discovered" that they do STD testing. Why was that something that had to be discovered by a prolife leader? PP is very open about what services they provide.
