What jobs are "non working" Fundy women allowed to do?

Does it have anything to do with being second generation homeschoolers? (I think this is the case for JRod, isn't it?) They are already behind, by their upbringing, and trying to compete in a world where it can be awfully tough for skilled go-getters with formal education to find jobs, without the added responsibility of children and babies.

Not to mention, I think the fundie upbringing tends to extinguish drive, motivation, critical thinking skills, and ingenuity and creativity. Maybe not in all cases (I know a couple of young fundie wives who have successful Etsy businesses -- they create patterns and sell those, which is much less labor intensive than selling crafts or actual knitted/crochet/sewn items).
