@Fundie Bunny, did you quote me by accident?  I agree with your statement but not sure I follow where it comes from mine.

Didn't even noticed it. I think I was supposed to quote someone else and my phone thinks she is funny

I just got back from my annual with my obgyn, and it made me think about the Duggars. Is the only time they get any sort of gynecological care is when they're pregnant? Cause if that's the case, it's bs. Jana and the other unmarried J-girls could be at risk! Ugh!

And if Jill and Jessa are only seen when they're preggo, that's not great either.

Seen when PG? Was Jessa ever seen by anyone, other than for her boutique gender scan and @ delivery? I'll bet the first and only time either Jessa or Jill saw an actual OBGYN is when things went awry. For Jill, when her labor failed to progress and for Jessa when had a PP hemorrhage necessitating a blood transfusion.

ETA- They don't need no stinking medical professionals, except when they do!

New tabloid article.

I'll believe it when I see it. The main reason I shared this is that I noticed that only Jill, Jessa and Jinger were mentioned as 'adult Duggar girls'. Jana's older than all of them, and technically Joy's an adult now. We all know that in Fundieland being married=adulthood, but seriously? I'd hope that secular writers wouldn't put it that way. Plus Jinger's not even married yet (unless there's something they're not telling us).

Late to the party, and I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but I just saw the unaired scenes of the Megyn Kelly interview. JB went on about what a Godly man Josh had become. I bet he's glad it never aired considering the next scandal. It was on You tube.

I think it's a badly written sentence, not really a slight against Jana, etc. I think they were trying to say with Jessa already expecting and Jill and Jinger likely to be soon, more grandkids are on the way. Don't know why Anna & her husband are their brood aren't in there too though.

Anna got a trans vaginal ultrasound.

Do they even allow that?

I'm sure they do, considering how it's used to try and force women considering abortion to keep their babies.

I really, really hope Jessa has a hospital birth this time. There's nothing wrong with homebirths, but after hemorrhaging I would hope she's actually concerned about her baby and her own safety during birth.

I hope so too.  But if Jesus is supposed to be charge then the hemorrhage may have been a test of faith, and wouldn't going to the hospital (prior to the manifestation of symptoms) possibly suggest a lack of faith?

I wonder what Bin thinks...if he's been rubbing a few brain cells together at all about this issue.  I'm guessing JB and Michelle would actually suggest she go to the hospital given some of the issues she has had; e.g., with Josie's birth.

I thought Michelle had to go to the hospital with Josie regardless if she wanted to or not because of how many vbacs she'd had.

Jill and Jessa were lucky. I think Jessa will try to home birth until she absolutely has to go to the hospital.

Jill and Jessa must be envious of Anna. That woman had four babies all at home, no problems that deemed it necessary for her to go to a hospital.

Too expensive. Not happening unless TLC foots the bill

I've been absent from FJ for awhile and am trying to catch up. Does this refer to the escort/stripper scandal, or is there yet another scandal involving Josh that I missed?

I promised myself I was done with the Duggars and yet here I am watching season 2's ' Meet the Parents'. ;p

In the enthralling 'Jinger packs her suitcase' segment I noticed that the name on her headboard was spelled 'J'nger'. Did anyone else notice that?  What happened to the 'I' ?

The Duggars taking in another child is a horrific thought to me. The risk of harm to that child, who may have emotional difficulties but hasn't had the personality beaten out of him yet, is huge.

These are people who follow the child abuse training manual TTUAC. They are going to demand and expect things of this poor kid that he can't comply with. And when he doesn't comply, the are going to continually hit him until he "submits".

This is horrible. Too many adopted kids have been harmed and even died at the hands of crazy fundies who follow that child abuse training manual.

It probably contributed to their stupidity (especially Jill's) during their home births.

By their belief system, Anna was doing something right in God's eyes since she had all babies at home, no problem or God given complications.

They watched her have her babies, no wonder they thought it wouldn't be any different for them.

I believe Michelle had preeclampsia with Josie. I remember JB saying that her blood pressure was up, and he was unable to hide his fear and grief.

She did, because she pronounced "preeclampsia" so strangely. "Pre-eeeeeeeeeee-CLEMPsia."

It still infuriates me when I think about Josie's birth story, and then the fact they went and concieved Jubilee after everything they had gone through with Josie. They're not parents, they're birthers.

I'll never forget reading the People article about Josie right after she was born (in the check out line, I didn't buy it!). JB saying all he wanted was to walk Josie down the aisle. I was so angry. I understand the sentiment but I think I would have been ok with any worried father saying that except JB. I thought, "Why can't you want more than that for her?"

And I had no idea how messed up they really were at that point.
