You're more than welcome. It is, unfortunately, our loss. He was my favourite player that's for sure. :pb_cry:

Shea is a good guy too :) I've gotten to talk to pk a few times and he seems like a pretty cool guy.

I was looking through my FB feed today and one of my friends had liked The Dugger Family Farm.  I was like, WTF? We know the don't grow vegetables and sell the stuff. Then I realized the name was spelled differently and this couple is from Indiana. They have quite a business. Lots of farm to table with local restaurants. They also do some animal rescue, too.

I feel reeeeeally bad for that family being saddled with a similar name. I bet they have to field all sorts of inquiries and rabid leg humpers and prank callers

Until Jessa starting courting Ben,  the Duggars were never really into Sports.  Remember they talked about it being a false idol or something.  They didn't let the kids play football, they played broomball.  But it seems as if Ben has influenced them all into being RazorBack fans, OR,  as I suspect, they saw that appearing to have a loyalty to a beloved home state football team made them seem more normal.    It just feels really calculated.

I think a lot of things were false idols until they realized children grow up meet people and discover other things.

The stuff they spewed in the first special wouldn't fly now in any episode

Calculation is their middle name

It occurred to me this morning that this is the first election cycle that I can remember that the Duggars have been virtually silent.  NO ONE will touch them! They arent even out glad handling for local stuff.   Kind of interesting...

Derick came out on Twitter over the weekend supporting Drumpf.

Clearly I am tired, because for a while this is all I read.

Same. I just woke up though, so I'm using that as my excuse. :pb_lol:

Derick's voting for a man that cheats on his wife and has sexually assaulted women? That sounds about right.

He won't save them, he'll just prosecute the women who have abortions.

Didn't Trump ask Marla what she planned on doing when she ended up PG while DT was still married to foreign wife #1?? Sorry I can never remember which  "I" name is the wife vs the daughter, and I am afraid to wrongly name the woman in question and have people think I'm as big a perv as DT.

Wife 1 is Ivana. His daughter with her is Ivanka - the one who acts as his main campaign surrogate and tries, in vain, to relate to normal women.

Someone on the thread we have going about Trump mentioned that he asked Marla to get an abortion or at least asked what she planned to do like you mentioned. Regardless, she didn't get an abortion and their daughter, Tiffany, is now a 22 year old college grad.

I seem to remember the Duggars chanting a Razorbacks cheer ("Pig Sooey", I think) when they were at a farm in Ireland. That would have been before Ben came onto the scene, when they were on their trip through Scotland, Ireland, England, and Israel.

I mostly remember it because they interrupted the Irish farmer with their cheer and didn't even explain why they were saying the cheer. It just seemed so rude.

They'll vote for anything but a woman.

I've seen people saying "I'd rather be grabbed by the pussy than ruled by one." Just in case you weren't already aware of how deplorable these types are... *vomit*

I've seen pictures of women wearing tshirts that say "Trump grab me here." And then an arrow. God it's all so disgusting.

My concern is : what do we do with all these people after the election? We can't put the genie back in the bottle, all of this hatred and vitriol is out there now. What do we do with them after it's over? There's no way people just sit down and be quiet/accept the outcome of the election.. so... Where are we supposed to go from here?

Wife #1 was/is Ivana Trump.

I adopted a kitten at the end of last year and the name she was given was Ivana. Her brother was called Donald.

When I said "I'll be back tomorrow with my housemates as we're interested in the kittens named after the Trumps" the lady politely said; "Sorry, I really didn't think that one through did I?"

ETA: She's not called Ivana anymore, her name is Evie!

Look across the pond at Britain. That's what's coming to you. We'll send you our special diplomatic boat.

They attended Razorback games long before Ben came on the scene.

God knows I try not to think "Americans are so stupid", but the trumpeters and conservative Christians are making it hard... :my_angel:  like this discussions on whether or not a woman can be president! Many countries all over the world have already had one, or *gasp* even more than one! (Ok, to be fair, five years ago my country had a huge discussion on whether a gay person can be president or not. So maybe we are no better ;).)

Sometimes though, the US seems to me like nothing but a neoliberalistic nightmare. Of course, that's not the whole picture! But really, I wish that more people would realize that free, qualitative education for everybody makes wonders for the collective intelligence. Sometimes I feel like I live in a socialist paradise compared to America x) Even though we have many problems here too, of course.

Oh trust me. Many of us are reasonable and rational human beings. We may have differences on political beliefs, but most of us realize that throwing temper tantrums to get our way won't accomplish anything. It's just like anything else though - the people screaming the loudest tend to be the ones heard the most abd given the most attention. It's sad that those assholes are representing the rest of us on a global scale to a certain extent.

If it's any consolation whenever any US actor/entertainer is interviewed over here (for films and books etc) they tend to slam Trump pretty hard. Bruce Springsteen (Mr CoveredInBees' hero) gave some great interviews this week on his book tour.
