Don't Ask, Don't Tell...Don't Care...

Does anyone think the repeal/end of Don't Ask, Don't Tell is going to engender any kind of response from the fundie nation? Although the fundie elite seem to already shun military service, purportedly because they might have to serve under non-Christian and/or (gasp!) women officers (more realistically because you have to shut up and actually do the work), many of the everyday fundies seem to embrace it (well, it's one good way to give those 18-year-olds something to do for a few years, and get them off the household support budget).

Do you think we'll hear an outcry, or will they try to ignore it?

Oh, I imagine our good friend the Stinking Trollwife will weigh in. I don't think we'll hear much from the families we talk about. What I would love to see is Dougie's take on this. I imagine it would read something like this.

I think that they will try to down play how well this works for the military.
