isn't coordination and planning the same thing? or is that just me

No, we had this conversation earlier, a coordinator just makes sure things happen on time while the planner is actually suggesting/picking out things to the couple. For example, the wedding planner would probably recommend a couple of bakeries, might go along for the cake tasting and might recommend some ideas for decorating the cake; the wedding coordinator would call the bakery to make sure that they knew when and where to drop it off and would check to make sure it had arrived on the day of the wedding.

Yeah, my sister had coordinators only; She chose all the details for her wedding, made all the appointments, set up all the decoration/cake deliveries, etc. etc. The coordinators showed up to the venue the morning of the wedding bright and early with pictures of my sister's vision. They bossed everyone around and got everything where it needed to be with periodic picture text updates to my sister while she had a much more relaxing morning getting ready.

She said they were worth every penny.

This is correct, as a part time planner, I do the design; but the coordinator does all the organisation and we work in tandem with each other.

We both have other FT jobs so we do it more as a side thing than serious business.

I LOVE the barn wedding!!!! It looks beautiful!! I'm not sure whether I would want to get married, but I love me a good party and I would love to have it in a venue like this.

Sometimes that song creeps me out and I think that the song romanticizes rape culture...

If you ask me it probably does. But I still here it occasionally.. :-(

Well I coughed up $3 to watch Neptune's Daughter, but it dawned on me that I know someone who would enjoy it as much as I hope to, so I will have to wait a few days before I can see it and report back here. Because I'm sure you're all dying to know what I think about it... :pb_lol:

So was the pedophile friends with him on Facebook? Or a hacker or what?

He had someone he knows look him up and through that mutual friend was able to obtain the information.

Sorry to quote twice but the one picture was a profile picture as well.

So is Sierra going to make it through 2016 without announcing blessing #6?

If so, do you think she's bummed about it?  Or do you think she's finally feeling overwhelmed?

I would guess in these fundie circles, there are a lot of mixed feelings surrounding pregnancy. Of course you can only show happiness over a pregnancy, but who knows what they feel in the inside. It's possible sierra is feeling relief to have a break in between pregnancies but would never admit it. Yes, being pregnant is basically the most celebrated thing ever in these circles but having 5 young kids must take its toll. The older ones are too young to be real helpers and the younger ones are so close in age that you are completely exhausted.

Maybe she is waiting to make a Christmas announcement. I am surprised she isn't pregnant already actually. I think she is overwhelmed but she seems to legitimately love having a lot of kids. Maybe she's just a good actress though.

Oh man I hope not but wouldn't be surprised at all that's the case. How cutesy would the announcement be on a scale from 1 to 10 handle lettered onesies?

I mean, there's always the whole "5 kids means less mommy and daddy personal time." I can't imagine having 5 kids and still having the energy for fellowshipping with my husband nearly as often as I did earlier.

Sierra posted pics of her wedding for her anniversary. Still a bit surreal to see her wearing a strapless dress (SCANDALOUS!) and to see Mark looking like he was about to audition for an All-American Rejects video.

But what is it with her and the "I want to love you so much that no one doubts that God exists" thing? Was God's existence in dispute before she made out with him behind Blockbuster or whatever? She keeps mentioning this quote, and I still can't wrap my head around it. Look, Sierra, I'm an atheist, I don't believe that God exists, and no matter how many romantic comedies, wedding videos, and porn I watch, two people loving each other hard and deep and raw doesn't change that.

Just for once I'd like her to switch it up: maybe today she'll love her husband so deeply that we'll be convinced that Poseidon exists.

I saw this last night and it is definitely a bit odd for an Anniversary post.  I guess with it being Sierra I shouldn't be surprised though. I hate the oversharing she does on Instagram about her relationship with Mr. Dominguez (just call him Mark ffs).  I don't think social media needs to know about their "brief argument" (she's definitely the Jessa in that marriage btw) and her opening line, "We weren't suppose to make it this far..." made me cringe a little.  Maybe it's not that odd after all. Just a classic Sierra post.
