Upcoming Babies Five

I was skeptical of some of the speculation that Kressant Morton was expecting last fall, but if you look through the photos that her mother (Jacqueline) has posted to Facebook in the last 2 days there are a couple where she appears to be quite pregnant.

Oh, definitely. It's always a safe bet to assume a S'Morton is pregnant, but those pictures leave no doubt. That is all baby.

Katie's holding a small baby in one of Jacqueline's pictures from June 9. It would appear that she should be moved from the "expecting" column to "recently gave birth".

It's a baby ???? I thought it was just a bag!!!!! But when i look better!!!

On FB, Jacqueline Smith says " We got some really good news about another family member that is quite exciting; I'll share it soon "  Expectation !! hihi

I finally found their FB pages.  Kressant definitely looks pregnant but I also understand why there was so much pregnancy speculation in the fall.  She, understandably, has gained quite a bit of weight.  Having 6 kids in less than 8 yrs will definitely do that to you.

In her latest FB page for her recital it looks like Lacie Verret Bowman may be expecting a third...If so that will be three in  3 years, and Audri Botkin has her cell strategically places, I wonder if she is having her fourth? Her third is about 18 months old so certainly time for another right?

huh. it would be kind of weird if katie had her baby with no mention from addie, mama morton or jacqueline. i guess when you've already had 8 (or 7?) it's not even worth a facebook post.  unless katie and alan have asked them to keep such things off the internet, in which case i am very impressed.

Has anyone heard anything about Adam and Valerie Waller? I keep checking the Waller and Mueller websites, but I haven't seen anything yet. Their baby was supposed to be due in June.

Yup, he's here. They posted a new blog post with a video. He was born on July 3rd and his name is Timothy Isaac. Abigail's response to meeting her baby brother for the first time is so sweet.

That video is cute! And they named him Isaac after Adam's twin brother that passed away in Mongolia because it was more important to proselytize than get medical care.

Adam expressed disappointment in a earlier blog post that he and Valerie aren't as fertile as their siblings, but I can't help but be excited that their children are coming at a much slower pace. Abigail is almost 3 years old at this point and, because of the further spacing, she and her brother have a chance to get a lot of attention from their parents.

I think eventually they will realize how much of a good thing it really is. How could they not? They HAVE children. Just not a fucking litter. When they are 40 and only have five keeping them busy, they will be grateful. And their siblings with 10 will be jealous of them, lol.

Ehh, I wouldn't say that the Jeebus prevented Isaac from getting care. It was a tragic situation that probably would have played out the same regardless of his location or occupation. 

He was in Mongolia doing mission work 10 years ago when he got an infection in one leg. As I recall, they may have thought it was from an insect bite? He was under the care of a team of doctors from the moment he fell ill. The infection grew worse, and he eventually was life-flighted from a hospital in Mongolia to South Korea for medical attention. He had advanced Leukemia, and died from a brain hemorrhage while in transit from the first Korean hospital to another. He had been on bed rest for over a month before the situation hit critical mass, and despite being cared for by Mongolian, American, and Korean doctors during that time, none were able to detect the Leukemia before it was too late. Tragically, his parents had caught a last-minute flight to try and be with him during his transfer, and basically missed seeing him alive by hours.

The situation has always stuck with me because I happened to find their blog the week that he became seriously ill. I remember following the updates, and being in shock when his death was announced. It was so strange to me that I had stumbled across this family during what was probably the worst time of their lives.

Unfortunately, yes this is correct. They were planning on using Zandry as a nickname.

so can't tell if Meredith Hammer is pregnant with number 4 in hr FB photo or if it is the dress,,,,color me shocked if she is that they would have another one while he is in law school.

She certainly looks pregnant to me. It could be bad posture, but I'd bet baby.

Law school or not, they have a quiver to fill.
