I'm sure that to be a Degreed Mental Health Professional in fundie world, you just need to tell a crying person that their misfortune is God's will and then tell them to keep sweet or else it's another hour in the Prayer Closet.

Googling yielded nothing. What the heck is Rebar Therapy? Is that the method of just sending disturbed teens and adults off to do construction work for six months in the hopes that that will fix them? (Side note: I could see some fundies espousing the idea that Construction for Jesus is a good way to deal with PTSD...so using refugees and migrant workers as glorified slaves like in Dubai and Qatar is totally OK)

I also love that she completely glosses over her second job that she walked away from without ever even quitting. Also can anyone point me in the direction of her previous college blogs? I'm feeling like they are probably very "College isn't for everyone" and very "God gave me special permission to never get an education," and would be hilarious to read now.

I can't find them. but she was all about how God didn't want her to go to college, because she is a special snowflake. I think the real reason was because she was planning on getting married super young and never working. 

I'm betting she is going to college to try and find a husband. People are going to quickly see Raquel for who she is, though.

From her instagram it looks like she did go back to the boy's home during her last trip to Peru. Scripture Union seems to be okay with letting this creep come back, but they might have told her to cut down on making it  so obvious she treats the teen boys like she is dating them. All he pictures are with younger boys and she supposedly taught a class. 

Since she was allowed back to the boy's home, I wonder if the guy she was snapchatting about giving him gifts and getting him to stroke her leg was actually still living there.

I'll be curious to see if she make it through. They have a lot of core requirements she'll need to get through, which i can see annoying her, plus it looks like the school's graduation rate is low. US News puts the 6 year grad rate at under 50%.

College is hard work and Raquel has a history of not sticking with things the second they get slightly hard. She also didn't seem to get that great of an education. She used to brag about how homeschooling meant you could skip annoying subjects like literature because she read books and reading is the same as a highschool literature class. I get the impression that Raquel only had to study what she wanted to study.
