Lots of Frumpers!!!

I attended the Kansas State Fair today. Mixed in with the cowboys and yuppies were lots of Frumpers! The town where the fair is held has a huge Mennonite population and there were lots of those there too. I enjoyed the fair, took lots of pictures of all the animals and other exhibits. It was fun.

I go to county fairs here in Boregonia, I love them. We've got Mennonites and fundyfrumpers galore at the local fairs. They tend to oooh and ahhh over the canned items, and avoid those defrauding FFA girls in their tight white jeans and blue corduroy jackets.

I hope you defrauded them somehow! Half the fun is at least getting close enough to talk loud about the Pagan festival you are planning or something. :)

Excellent idea. I will keep this in mind the next time I see Frumper wearers wandering around in the real world.

Too bad the Maxwells weren't there at the entrance handing out "free" sodas along with tracts and Christopher's balloon art. They were at a large fair in Kansas a few years ago doing just that - but I think they are too good to mix with the common people now. Someone may walk by them wearing immodest clothes (I think they said something about that being a problem for them) :roll:

Are Mennonites the ones with cape dresses? Why are they called cape dresses? Do they have actual crime-fighting capes sewn onto the back of them?

My kids work the petting zoo at the fair for 4H and seeing your pics makes me want a cow again. I( really want a pet cow.

We need to come up with some standard questions to ask fundies with booths at fairs.
