DJT will solve the nonexistent drought problem that's been plaguing farmers for over 4 years. How freaking DELUSIONAL is this idiot?

>>He did not go into detail about how officials would open up the water, nor what science supports the claim that the drought is not real. But he did tout himself as a champion of the environment.

“I’ve received many, many environmental rewards, really. Rewards and awards,” Trump said. “I have done very well environmentally. I’m all for it.”

“My environmental standard is very simple, I’ve said it to everybody,” he added. “I want clean water. Clean air, clean water.”<<

Not to mention the depths of his ignorance concerning energy: https://www.technologyreview.com/s/601588/donald-trumps-america-first-energy-plan-shows-he-knows-virtually-nothing-about-the-issue/

Yes he loves the environment that's why he wants more coal and oil. He tries to woo everyone and it just can't work. He goes in for hell fire and brimstone then backs off. What a way to run a country.

What the HELL. He's running for President, that doesn't come with Godlike powers over rainfall.

Well trump thinks he is godlike.

I mean, it is kind of reinforced by his numbers constantly improving despite how he acts more and more batshit crazy :(

Although at his rallies, the Trump says that he is against Social Security cuts, in his private meeting with Paul Ryan, he said that cutting Social Security was the moral thing to do.

ETA he is a self proclaimed apostle, a healer and a prophet. Not only, you will find that AIDS is caused by "unnatural sex". And the earthquake in Haiti was because of Voodoo.

I hope he warned Trump too.

Well, we now have a little more data concerning those veterans' charities. Thank you, mainstream media, for following the money and asking questions! *runs off to check Charity Navigator and see about the ratings of some of those groups which I don't recognize.*

Anybody with experience in personnel management and/or government security issues: If Trump is gonna pitch a fit like this about publicly-findable facts, how is he going to react to all the paperwork and data that he'll need to release in order to get governmental secret and top-secret clearances? And the in-person interviews that will need to be done? I mean, you can't have someone who's not cleared making big decisions involving major weapons....can you? *shudder* Clinton at least had a clearance as Secretary of State. Is Trump even clearable?

Update: Here's a link to Politifact, with a listing of the 41 charities, and explaining a bit about Charity Navigator's work in rating or not rating: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2016/may/31/list-veterans-groups-donald-trump-says-he-donated/

And the Ebil Washington Post has also a neat link:https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/05/30/tomorrow-trump-will-give-more-details-about-his-donations-to-vets-heres-what-we-still-dont-know/

From the latter (by the meanie WP journalist who broke the story about "where did the money go, and when?":

>>Why did it take four months to distribute the last of this money? (Subhead: bolding is WP's)

Vetting, Trump says.

On Tuesday, Trump said these weeks were needed to scrutinize the potential recipients, so Trump could be certain that they were worthy.

"I had people, teams of people reviewing statistics, reviewing numbers and also talking to people in the military to find out whether or not the group was deserving of the money," he said Tuesday. Several of the groups reported receiving no requests for financial documents from Trump's team. In some cases, there was only a phone call, and a simple request: Trump's people asked for their official nonprofit number, issued by the IRS.....

Many of the charities Trump selected seem to be legitimate and deserving. But one of the charities that Trump chose — after it had been vetted by Trump's "teams of people" — was the Foundation for American Veterans. It received $75,000.

But the Foundation for American Veterans has an "F" rating from Charity Watch, a nonprofit watchdog, because it spends so little of its donations on work that actually helps veterans. Indeed, an examination of the group's tax filings shows that the foundation spent just $2.4 million of its total $8 million budget on helping veterans directly in 2014. The group spent the rest of the money in 2014 on fundraising, on salaries and on other overhead costs.

The same foundation was the subject of an "alert" from the Better Business Bureau in January, which cited "a pattern and high volume of complaints and customer reviews" about the Foundation for American Veterans. The BBB said customers received "a high volume of what they consider to be harassing phone calls" from the group's solicitors. The BBB said the group had blamed the problem on its telemarketer. The BBB's St. Louis branch also warned residents to "be cautious when dealing with representatives of Foundation for American Veterans," warning that its telemarketers might "pressure and mislead them into making donations."

Hicks, the Trump spokeswoman, did not respond to questions about why Trump's vetting process had not detected these problems.

These problems shouldn't have been hard to find. On a recent Google search for the foundation's name, three of the first four search results were websites raising questions about the foundation's practices.<<

Charity Navigator--a fantastic go-to-site---gave FAV zero stars---its lowest rating. Another article, using 10 years worth of federal tax filings examined by the Tampa Bay Times and The Center for Investigative Reporting, identified FAV as one of the worst in the nation .(https://smartasset.com/insights/the-50-worst-charities-in-america-how-to-keep-from-being-scammed

This jackass is going to put his good managers, his trained people, into running the Federal Government, and they can't even spot a possible scam by using the simple due diligence that any charity donor can easily do online? It costs FAV $85 USD to raise $100 USD, according to Charity Watch (https://www.charitywatch.org/ratings-and-metrics/foundation-for-american-veterans/532)---and Trump's gonna cut waste and fraud in spending?

yea that is funny why they would endorse him.

Because he says he's going to pull US troops out of South Korea - anything that weakens South Korea is going to get a thumbs up from North Korea.

Which is WHY WE HAVE TROOPS IN SOUTH KOREA.

Not that Trump would see any logic in that.

Trump's 3,500 Lawsuits Unprecedented For A Presidential Nominee

Quote

Our project found about 3,500 legal actions involving Trump, including 1,900 where he or his companies were a plaintiff and about 1,300 in which he was the defendant. Due to his branding value, Trump is determined to defend his name and reputation. Kelly Jordan, USA TODAY

Donald Trump is a fighter, famous for legal skirmishes over everything from his golf courses to his tax bills to Trump University. But until now, it hasn’t been clear precisely how litigious he is and what that might portend for a Trump presidency.

An exclusive USA TODAY analysis of legal filings across the United States finds that the presumptive Republican presidential nominee and his businesses have been involved in at least 3,500 legal actions in federal and state courts during the past three decades. They range from skirmishes with casino patrons to million-dollar real estate suits to personal defamation lawsuits.

The sheer volume of lawsuits is unprecedented for a presidential nominee. No candidate of a major party has had anything approaching the number of Trump’s courtroom entanglements.

Just since he announced his candidacy a year ago, at least 70 new cases have been filed, about evenly divided between lawsuits filed by him and his companies and those filed against them. And the records review found at least 50 civil lawsuits remain open even as he moves toward claiming the nomination at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in seven weeks. On Tuesday, court documents were released in one of the most dramatic current cases, filed in California by former students accusing Trump University of fraudulent and misleading behavior.

The legal actions provide clues to the leadership style the billionaire businessman would bring to bear as commander in chief. He sometimes responds to even small disputes with overwhelming legal force. He doesn’t hesitate to deploy his wealth and legal firepower against adversaries with limited resources, such as homeowners. He sometimes refuses to pay real estate brokers, lawyers and other vendors.

Things got very ugly yesterday for Trump protestors.....some actual violence against them in ....somewhere in CA. And I think the Secret Serviice had to leap into action the other day to protect Bernie.

Since I was alive when RFK was killed, I really am glad they have Secret Service and I hope no one gets seriously hurt. That was awful. As everyone knows. People who are against a candidate need to campaign vigorously for the the opponent. That is a strong tool. Godalmighty.

I think the San Diego paper just gave me the only option that will get me to the polls on Tuesday:  write in Ronald Reagan.  Yes, it has come to the point where I am willing to vote for a dead man.  We have closed polls here, so I cannot even give a Dem a vote.

The Donald held a rally in my small city in Teabagistan. The news twinks on the local station kept on referring to him as President.

Drumpf apparently came through Sacramento this past Wednesday, but couldn't even be arsed to leave the airport. I understand he held his "rally" at the airport with the crowd assembling on the tarmac in front of his obnoxious TRUMP! airplane.

Bernie was also here, to the excitement of the uni students in my town. I think I heard he attracted a crowd of 10,000 at his rally.

And check out this weird wave. Not to go all Godwin here, but it reminiscent of a more upright Nazi-style salute (I don't know what the technical term for that is, if there even is one). If the hand were not bent up, it would totally be that salute.

Here it's called the Roman salute because at the beginning of 20th century it was erroneously considered an ancient Roman tradition. Fascism, with a willingness to  derive justification and confirmation from the mythology of the Ancient Rome, used it as a symbol of its connection with the Roman past and the Nazis followed suit.

More of the same old narcissistic bullshit from this asshole.

http://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2016/06/03/donald-trump-hillary-clinton-judge-jake-tapper-full-interview-lead.cnn

Oh, so Hillary speaks in sound bites, and yet you just keep repeating the same short sentences that have *nothing to do with what the interviewer is asking you*, but we're supposed to believe you're a good bet for President?

This country is doomed if this guy gets elected. I'm so with Hillary. This thin-skinned malevolent narcissist has no business having this country's nuclear codes.
