the form only asks if YOU were molested, never asks if you molested someone. Because molestation is of course the victim's fault, and we don't need to deal with the perpetrator. Clearly.

I cannot compute how you can have a belief system where young adults are not told about consensual adult sex until right before their wedding day, but where there are worksheets to help youngsters work out how much blame they hold for being molested.

Don't try.  Their thinking is......soooooooo messed up. so twisted. If you can figure out why they believe and do what they do then you'd be demoralizing yourself. It hurts to even think about .

I didn't notice any questions about porn actually. Oddly enough- one they missed maybe?  I don't remember talk of him being caught with porn as a teen.  Honestly, that would probably be the one normal teen behavior in his childhood.

I am actually surprised that this "organization" has not been infiltrated in the past. My son recently graduated from college and is applying to grad school. I could probably bribe him into doing it for a case or two of beer. He enjoys a challenge. Of course he won't last long and being the product of divorce may disqualify him out of the gate. But it'd be super fun to get a true perspective on this.

There is some suggestion that Josh may have been sent to ALERT or something similar back in the day.  He showed up in photos with his head shaved.  This was prior to public knowledge of the molestation, but I cannot remember the timeline of events.

I also can't remember whether it was pre-Rapture or not.

Both Austria and Switzerland have a compulsory military service for men (it's voluntary for women), so I know a lot of people who were/are in the army (including my brother), and I've heard a lot of reports over the years from different people. If the US Army is anything like that, they are as wordly (nike!!) as it gets.

In the army, the Duggarlings would have to deal with a lot of different people from various backgrounds. Most of them would probably be the "wrong kind of" Christians, or have a different religion altogether, or even be ebil atheists. They could, oh the horror!, encounter women and would have to work with them without any chaperones present, and, even worse, those ebil gays don't have to hide in the closet anymore . In their free time, the soldiers like to listen to heathen music, talk about all kinds of things including girls and sex (nike!!) and also like to have a beer or two. Honestly, I'd feel sorry for a Duggar trapped in the army, they would be the butt of jokes.

Or worse: they could have to take orders from a woman or a gay guy!

If I remember correctly the place in Little Rock was an IBLP training center.  But I think it had just been purchased and Josh was there to help rehab the place.

I think as far as we know, only Joe, Josiah, and now apparently Jeremiah sans his twin have attended the ALERT program. Maybe they separate twins and Jed will get to go next semester.  Josiah went back for lots of extra training and spent the better part of a year there.

He had the shaved head in the early specials (14 Kids, I think). Not sure if there was ever definitive evidence beyond that.
