"Likes" names I recognize from my time here on FJ include James Pennington, Kevin and Kathleen Turley, a couple of Disharoons, and Daniel Foucachon (a Doug Wilson acolyte). Oh, and Beall, of course.

The Tool doth protest too much, methinks.

It makes sense not to try to reopen the catalog business because it was failing anyway.  They have re-branded though:  "After Vision Forum."  Why not let the name die out?

He wants to imply that people have actually asked him to pursue church leadership, ministry, or political office.  In fact he has ambitions for all three, you can bet your boots.

He claims zero interest now because he wants to be like Caesar and have the crown offered him thrice.

I don't think he'll have much luck running for political office but stranger things have happened.  See Donald Trump.

Probably because they're afraid people will go looking for "Vision Forum" in a positive light, wanting the content, and not find them if they rebrand completely. Sketchy move and ill-advised, if you ask me. But what do I know, I'm only in marketing/pr and it's not like I've ever done a rebrand or anything

Well golly gee - yet another lesson in "Let's put some lipstick on this pig!" from Be-All and Dougie. I find nothing here that sounds remotely like humility or repentance. They are the long-suffering victims, it's all about them, nary a word for Lourdes or the many other families they damaged (some of whom are commenting quite frankly on Carmon Friedrichs' FB page).

Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose.

It's bad enough the depths to which Dough Phillips is a Tool.

What's worse is the fools who blindly follow him, support him, and take his word for law without any though.

Anyone who knows anything, or cares to know anything, about how lawsuits work, would know that one recanted specific charge does not equate innocence.

He twists it all as he has always twisted everything. And his fans swallow it without gagging.

People scare the shit out of me.

Not everyone is jumping for joy over the return of the tool.  I think he may be a bit taken aback by the lack of support and by the amount of opposition.

It's interesting to see who is speaking out against him.

He didn't actually advertise all the filming he's been doing.  He just trailed that "private business" thing to see if people take the bait and ask what it is.

Perhaps he should hire @FundieFarmer as a consultant.
