Rachel announced it on her Instagram very soon after.  I wouldn't read too much into the late announcement,  Looks like they were traveling around a lot over the past couple of months.

Oh, I wasn't reading anything into it, really, I just thought it was weird that her family hadn't made any mention of it.

I really like her instagram feed, maybe because I'd like a farm/country lifestyle for myself. And I'm really really happy for her. She was quite old by fundiestandards when she got married and it took them some time to get pregnant and this must be very hard in their circles. Although most of the Wissmann kids seem to turn into fundie-light/conservative christians after marriage and there might be less pressure.
