I hope this child has no future memories of this treatment, and that she survives all of this.  Weighs heavy on the heart, what happens to kids.

I can't bear it, this is one of those things you read that will never leave you. I can only hope like you MarblesMum that she won't have any memories of this. Hopefully she's young enough to be adopted by people who will love and cherish her and undo any psychological damage. Just so awful.

If this story IS true (and no offense to posters: I just want to allow the widest possible options, just in case the media is not correct---and I pray that they ARE way freaking wrong, because this kind of abuse is completely evil beyond human comprehension):

If true: May the Blessed Goddess damn those adults, in waking and in sleeping, in walking and riding and sitting and in lying down, in sun and moon and starlight. If this story is anywhere correct, may the adults involved be cursed in eating, in drinking, in work and at rest, in all they do.

If it's anywhere near true, may the adults involved never know the comfort of friends or family, may they never know health, happiness, or hope. May they be forever cut off from the support of loved ones, may they be cursed by all people of faith (any flavor!).  May they die alone, without comfort, unmourned, and truly damned by all folk, both human and eternal. May their names and memories be forever cursed: may they never know peace.

YEAH, it's not very Politically Correct, and I really don't give a flying ___whatever if this brings on a Trip to the Prayer Room, or an absolute ban. But I still call on Nemesis Avenger to bring justice....

May the Dear Eternal protect the child, and all children who suffer abuse.

This happened in the city next to me. A few miles from me. It is so sad and heartbreaking. I would give anything to have a child ( been trying for 1.5 years) and people like that get to have them. It's horrible.
