...What? No. Why? Are you insane?

I might be misunderstanding, but this seems fucked up. There's NOTHING funny about messing with children. Nothing

Nope, the poor kids go through enough in these wackadoodle families.

I would send one to Steve Maxwell, however. The evil, worldly, FUN music would send him loopy.

I'm pretty sure it was a joke about sending the cards to  fundie  children.   They are musical cards that never stop. Could be kind of funny as long as you don't live with the person who gets it. (Not to fundy children) Still I think the post was kind of tongue in cheek.

What does a birthday card that doesn't stop singing have to do with the issues discussed on FJ? Sorry, it's just kind of pointless to me even if it was a joke. :dontgetit:

Yeah, this post was a little confusing to me, but I think I get it now.  While I am not comparing kids to animals (cause we all know cats are not children - don't need that convo here LOL), the idea behind this reminds me of when my friend would buy my energetic dog something like a warthog stuffed animal that made warthog fart sounds when he chewed it - so then I would buy her young son a super soaker, so then she would buy my dog...  hahaha.  Man, that was so not fun sometimes.  Anyway, the kid and the dog LOVED it.  It was hard on the grown humans.

Just to be clear, I am not advocating sending these (or anything for that matter) and I don't think the OP was either, but I think that was the idea - the kid would LOVE it...

Do they make a card I can send to David-Rod that will play "Get a job!" for nine hours, non-stop?

I could definitely send one to Steve Maxwell.  That SOB deserves it.

Can I send one to Ben Seewald?

Someone once gave one of my kids a picture book of Old McDonald, that had the music chip in it. Damn thing must have been possessed because it would be on the shelf, no one near it, and it would start up all on its own and play and play and. . .eventually I put it in a bag of things going to a charity shop. Even buried in clothing I could hear it playing while I drove.

Don't send them to the fundie littles.  Send them to your own nieces and nephews to annoy their parents, but leave the fundy littles out of it.  They get so little already that breaking something they get could be crushing.

When I went to the site much earlier today it looks like you could probably get them to make you a custom card.  They appear to be some younger guys who have started this company through a crowd source fund.  Fun to fantasize about anyway.  One of their cards (which are mostly preorder for March(?) has sold out.

The biggest problem with this card is that ... payback is a bitch!.

I'm not the OP, but my interpretation is that the kids would love it, and the parents would hate it.

My sweet pup was diagnosed with a brain tumor in September. She passed away in my arms on Thanksgiving morning. It all happened so fast. She didn't want to eat anything the day before, but prior to that was ok. Knew it was near time and had booked an appointment to take her next week. However, she decided for me. She was only 8 and really was one of the best dogs. She never met a stranger, human or dog. Life isn't the same without her.

I made my first Granny Square! After nearly 30 years of knitting and crocheting this was a project I never did. Until now! I needed something to do with my rest of very colourful yarn and now I am very happy. I need to try different needles with my yarns but I think I found something nice for the future.
I needed only 3 different youtube videos until I found a person who explained the concept slowly and repetitive and with words I can understand. I hate when these tutorials make me feel dumb.

Someone please remind me to buy peanut butter. Seriously, I have been meaning to get some for at least three weeks, and everytime I remember, the shops are already closed!

We had to put our 14 year old dachshund, Trinket, down today.  She was fine Thursday, but by mid-morning yesterday, it was apparent that something was really wrong,  She had zero energy, lost her appetite and began walking into corners.  By morning I knew it was time for her to have her final visit to the vet.  She had lost about a pound and a half recently.  RIP, Trinket!

Horrific! A 6 year old boy was murdered, and mother severly injured, in a hate crime in Chicago. Reports say they are both Palestinian Muslims and were specifically targeted because of that. Thankfully the man who did it is in custody
      This is pure evil
