I have never wished SO BADLY that we had Netflix lol... Alas, free tv has it's own perks, I suppose. Will have to wait til they (hopefully!!) make a DVD version.

I don't think the miniseries will touch on the more recent years. Just QEII's early reign. I am thrilled Matt Smith is going to portray Prince Phillip. None of the adaptions really focus on him and/or just have really bad portrayals.
