I created a Fitbit group, but I'm a little leery of making it public without talking about it first. What are people's thoughts? Do we want an group? Should it be private? Public?

I would be in for a group.  I have been using another tracker thing, but I had been thinking about switching back to my fitbit.  I think I would make a new account for security reasons since I did have a bit of an issue recently with internet security, but for me right now that is easy to do.

I woke up to an email from Fitbit with my weekly progress report. It had, like, 12,000 steps. I'm not sure how that happened, as I do not have a fitbit tracking device, and I rarely carry my phone while doing exercise. I looked at the leaderboards and it shows I do not have any steps. Anyone?

Thanks D!!!!!  I am excited.  Let me know if you don't get a text back from me on fitbit.  I think I sent one, but how would I know?  I got no trace of the message, no "you go Whoosh! way to message friends".  Nothing.

No problem at all about this week.  I kept seeing you on the other thing and I didn't do much walking yesterday or today so I had not realized we weren't buddies.

So my actual fitbit itself is deaddead, so I've been using my phone to record things until the Splurge or Blaze or whatever it's called comes out. I'm frustrated, because the app won't let me record an external exercise, so my miles on the treadmill at OTF weren't recorded, and it looks like I only have 600 steps in a day. Gah. Yikes. It's freaking me out because I feel like a lazy caterpillar just looking at the thing!
