Duck Dynasty star Reed Robertson 20, proposed to his long time girlfriend, 19. The rock is a 3 carat fmaily heirloom. though they seem young, he at least is getting an education, and maybe won't end up working for dad-in-law.. Im sure they got alone time to know each other.

Sounds like the gem is from her family. Was Reed the one who was in a real bad emotional state a while back?  I ask not to snark, just mildly curious. It's always a good thing when mental illness is treated responsibly.

If he's getting an education, that's good, but Willie and his wife both have college educations, so it isn't unknown for the family. Pretty sure old Phil went to college too, as there's a photo floating around the internets of him in his college football days.
