As far as I know she's not actually courting anyone. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

A love life isn't what she needs right now. She needs a chance to figure out who Jinger is and who Jinger wants to be. Love isn't going to fix her life right now. Finding love in the environment she has grown up in will only entrench Jinger deeper in the lifestyle. She needs to find out who she is outside of being one of 19 kids. The problem is that I am not sure she wants to do that. I am not sure any of them want that.

living in such a controlling environment for so long, it is highly possible she doesn't even know that there's a possibility for her to have something different as her life.

I have the feeling she doesn't want to have anything different anymore. the Josh scandals may have been more proof for them how evil the world is and that you need to shut yourself away even more than before.

He doesn't want to marry them off too fast.  He doesn't have any homes for them yet or a way to support ANOTHER in law and the ensuing crush of babies.

If they want a hope of keeping a show/set of specials on TV they will quickly announce a courtship. Before sunday I would have said that Jinger or Jana were the obvious choice but a lot of viewers of the first special seemed to really like the older boys so maybe one of them will be next.

With how the girls reacted in the special, I guarantee that's the case. They see the world as being this place that digs up their most embarrassing and painful memories/activities, then it uses that to destroy them. The fact that their experience with the outside world is only through the eyes of people who are forced to deal with fame (especially reality TV show fame) means that JB and Michelle have a lot more power than they would if the kids regularly interacted with the world. In the real world people would have never looked up their past, nor would they have looked for Josh's information on the AM list; but the Duggar kids will never know that. They'll only know the world of fame and tabloids. 

Therefore, JB and Michelle ever opportunity to expose their children to "wordly" things while also giving them the perfect example of why the kids don't want to be among worldly people.

But really, who in fundieland would want a Duggar for a spouse?  Aren't they "tainted?"  sins of the father vested in the generations and all that.  Josh went rogue, doesn't that imply "tainted fruit?"

Sins of the father would only apply if they're adopting, I believe. And, even if they didn't, the only children who have a father whose actions were publicly "tainted" are his own children, who are far too young to be worrying about marriage, anyways. The older girls might be "tainted" as in they're "not pure." But, that might have no baring on the Duggar boys.

Honestly, I think that the Duggar boys had a great chance of getting married until the first scandal came out. Now, I don't think anyone has much of a chance of getting married unless their future spouse and in-laws are ready to be scrutinized by the media on a regular basis. The family should have worked harder at marrying off their older kids before they were surrounded by only negative press.

As long as the TLC money is flowing, I'm sure many would be willing to spin it as a show of their strength of their faith and forgiveness. True Christians do what God calls them to do, even if it's risky (like moving to central America with a newborn immediately after major surgery). I could easily see a story about how some marriageable partner was impressed by some Duggar kidult's strength and power of faith during the scandals, er, God-given tests of faith. And after the potential Joshley redemption tour, they can also use the occasion to feel all holy with their "Christian forgiveness."

And then there's J-Rod. She wouldn't skip a beat if it would get a Duggar-Rodrigues courtship under way.

That we don't know, but some fundies would argue that JB has a hidden sin/failure as a parent which is why Josh did what he did.  If JB was more godly, then he would have been able to pass that on to his son and prevent his son from sinning.  If he couldn't prevent Josh from sinning, then how do they know that his other boys haven't been corrupted by Josh/JB.  Especially in a world where a father has to OK a relationship with his daughter, I can see the other boys having to go the extra mile to get a relationship, having to jump through hoops to prove that they aren't Josh.

However much they have, with 19 kids plus 6 (and counting) grandkids, that money is going to run out pretty fast.  The TLC income has been greatly reduced, but their lifestyle expectations have gone up.  Of the 8 over 18, only JD is definitely able to financially support himself should he choose.

A few million divided by the costs of 19 kids and multiple houses is not enough to live off indefinitely while expanding.

From what I understand of wisdom booklets and ATI teachings, his early transgressions are not "what JB did or didn't do," its what the girls did. The girls tempted Josh, not JB. And, Josh's actions were because he allowed the devil to tempt him to sin.

His later transgressions (adultery) were because he stepped outside his father's umbrella of protection and surrounded himself with worldly people/things. Josh allowed the devil to lead him when he allowed himself to view porn and/or fantasize about women who weren't his wife. His sins were caused by him straying from his father, rather than sins being caused by his father's sins.

Of course JB and OfDuggar won't accept that any "sin" might have been on their part, like pride or haughtiness, or for allowing multiple "confessions" from their son go by without actual, real help,  like the program "Elder" Jim Holt worked as a chaplain at, because they couldn't do that and not see that putting their family on television has done far more harm than winning souls for Jesus.

That's just such a weird thing since we are given free will, and yet they will blame a man's sins on anyone but himself.

I think they link it to the 'marked' people in the Old Testament. How God would punish a person and all of their descendants for their sins, like Canaan being punished after his dad saw drunk and naked Noah.
