Fast with Steve for 10 days!

Mary, Joseph, Ofjoseph and Calia travel 600-some miles so Mary can volunteer WITHOUT the rest of the family there. 

The mothership (fathership) crew go to KC to the symphony for Handel's Messiah.  Egad, they might have stood and sung along to the Hallelujah Chorus even tho pagans and outright Roman Catholics were in the same audience. 

 

Teri took a photo of Poor Sarah looking genuinely tickled. 

 

The family band spared Leavenworth's Bethlehem-town tourists this year.  

 

My question: Do these unprecedented forays into normalcy result from Steve's 10-day fast earlier this fall?

 

(I called it a half-fast because that was one of the few naughty expressions my mom would use, and then giggle. Yeah, the nuns in 1930s Catholic school did a number on her, but that's not the point of this post. Heh)

 

Fasting is said to produce significant changes. I have to wonder. Of course this may all be wishful thinking.

Carry on.  Yes, I'd like to know more about the fast and whether these new behaviors are connected to it.  Come on, Steve, let's hear your debriefing of it.  We know you did one.
