Yeah, buying a parking is not a solution pretty much anywhere :/

If they moved to the suburbs - where the community that they serve actually lives - they could have plenty of parking to park cars that they think they need.

Or the church could try and find a solution for the church's problem, without trying to block projects that are necessary for safety and traffic reduction. This has nothing to do with religion, and it's an asshole move to try and make it about religion.
