Sex is only for Christians.

According to the pastor, God made sex “for the Christ-exalting glory of covenant-keeping faithfulness in marriage, and for the glory of Christ-exalting chastity in singleness.â€

I guess when gd told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply, he decided that Eve was Adam's prostitute.

right so How would the first Christians be made? hell how would humans be made since they were not Christians at first. sometimes it makes me wonder how many different directions Christianity can possibly go. so any christian can have sex or only certain types of Christians? and are only Christians born to christian family's allowed to breed?

I bet he does know all about prostitutes. :?

Question: If I've had sex with a Christian, how much do they owe me per time? And how do I collect, just sue or something?

These pastors who frequently discuss sex, and claim sex for god (?!) make me sick. I find this man utterly revolting. Who do these assholes think they are? Gross asshole.

Isn't this the same evil SOB who pimped out Ian and Larissa's story when they were first married, and who convinced Larissa she had to marry Ian?

His grasp of the holy is pretty tentative, as far as I'm concerned. And his grasp of word meanings is as well. I guess everyone in history before Jesus resurrection, as well as everyone who isn't a John Piper accepted Christian is a prostitute.

I wonder what word he uses for people who sell Jesus for profit?

I think that John Piper believes anything anyone does without the direct intention of serving God is sinful. I remember hearing the examples of a relief medical worker/Dr, if they are not Christian, going into a3rd world country to provide life saving medical care would be evil/sinful, because ultimately the worker would be serving themselves, not God. So at least he's consistent, if not logical.

All I can think of is the scene in Elf where Buddy buys lingerie for his dad cause it says "for someone special"

Really it's just a thoroughly sad, myopic take on things. Like someone else said, didn't Jesus spend time with prostitutes and other people often considered unacceptable?

Shouldn't Jesus have better things to do than watch people exalt or offend him through sex? And how would rape be classified (in a Christian marriage or not)?

Yeah, so that's why Josh Duggar hung out with porn stars and hookers. He was modeling his life after that of Jesus.

And what goodies to give or do to our Santas. Yeah, my mind went there. Must be my pain meds talking.

I'm sure crazy preacher man believes there is no rape in a Christian marriage. One body and all that. :pull-hair:

Maybe he is going the way of warren jeffs. so regular people can be married ut they need a christian to make the wife pregnant?

“It is the husband’s responsibility to hold the hands of their wives while the seed bearer ‘spreads his seed.’ In layman terms, the husband is required to sit in the room while the chosen seed bearer, or a couple of them, rape his wife or wives,†Charlene Jeffs stated.

It must be so weird to be God. When he sees married people having sex, he goes all, wow, those people think they're fucking but they are mistaken, really they are exalting me. When he sees unmarried people having sex, he goes, ooh how gross, what an abomination. When he sees a SAHD shriveling in intimacy deprivation, he's happy: oh see how lonely and sad her life is, what a glory to ME!
