Based upon the 8 minutes JD's plane was on the ground, I have a feeling there were no long, teary goodbyes. Probably just shoved Josh and his suitcase out on the tarmac and took off.

OK so long term rehab... any guesses where this will happen? Is it going to be a legit sexual addiction center, or will it end up being another ATI run fake like last time?

It turns out the Duggars are not so isolated from the media that they skipped the idea that a celebrity can fuck up big time and make a public apology. When that fails to placate the public you just find a tangential addiction to blame it on and find an appropriate type of rehab that will let you hang for a few weeks while it all blows over.

I wonder what kind of minimal construction work ATI has in store for Josh this time.

Seriously. What a damn copout. I hope this is a legitimate place where he will receive quite a bit of counseling/therapy and where he will have to own up to all of the fucked up stuff he did. I feel like this is definitely a case where "I'm going to rehab!!111" is used as a way to deflect further criticism.

edit: Also, I'll be upset if they call it a "sex addiction". I think its a legitimate thing that many deal with but I hate when people pathologize their asshole-ishness as an excuse.

Wonder if Anna will stick around at the dump house Josh bought her while her certified CREEP of a husband goes through rehab? Will she hang local so she can have free babysitting and emotional support? Sounds like there is a lot of dissent in Kellerland, so maybe she feels more at peace remaining in Arkansas.

I like the thought of Anna having a long-term break from Josh, but do we know what "long-term" means in Duggarland? Doesn't a long-term mission trip last around the one-month mark, in their world?

I would expect him to go to some Gothard sanctioned, Hobby Lobby funded venture that makes of mockery of real therapy and is insidious in that it makes claims that people leave there healed and forgiven when if anything they've been indoctrinated and made to believe they're somehow morally superior to those who don't follow Gothard. Which I guess is essentially the Duggar brand.

Seriously? Josh doesn't have a sex addiction. If he did, that would just mean he and Anna would have been going at it like bunnies, because she's not allowed to say no to sex. He may be addicted to lying and hypocrisy, but there's no fundie rehab clinic that's going to help him overcome that.
