I agree. Reading Ann Voskamp is like sifting through sand for a gold nugget. Her writing reads much like an eschatological EL James: lots of murmuring about inconsequential things before you can get to the real meat.

Same here. The principle of her writing doesn't bother me, even if it's not quite something that grips me personally.

But Ann Voskamp deeply offends my sensibilities as a lit major!
