The Duggars return to reality TV on Tuesday, February 17th, 2015. The new season will give viewers a glimpse into Jill and Derick Dillard's lives as newlyweds. The couple is expecting their first child in March and has been filming home videos that they are looking forward to sharing on upcoming episodes of 19 Kids and Counting. The new season will also feature the wedding of Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald.

More of Jill :angry-banghead:

WTF is the big draw with Jill? She's a bubble headed mouthpiece!

Even though the shows ratings were growing with the start of S9, the growing ratings coincided with the airing of Jill's courtship with Derick; and to a lesser extent Jessa & Ben. Her wedding was the highest rated ep ever (Jessa's engagement ep is the 2nd). Her & Derick are more willing to be used by TLC for the show, especially with all the attention they are getting for Baby Dilly which makes her popular. Being the favorite daughter; having a whirlwind romance, & getting pregnant after a week makes her the center of attention and she relishes in it. Win-win.

This season is probably gonna be 50% Jill, 30% Jessa, 10% Josh & Anna & 10% everyone else.

She's having a baaaaby!!! And she likes to talk and be the centre of attention, so she's easy to film. The spotlight will soon swivel away from her onto some younger brother or sister who becomes more interesting.

Why would we expect anything other than Jill's baby and Jessa & Bin's Wedding? I just hope the wedding plans don't span 12 episodes

I can only hope we don't have 10 boring episodes about modesty standards and shoes. I mean come on, a full freaking episode on shoe shopping and modesty.

I suppose that would be better than watching Jill eat ginormous pickles the whole time.

Not to worry--I'm sure there will be trips to the dentist and orthodontist.

Duggars, show us something new. Like your political work, campaigning against the LBGTQ community, Josh participating in meetings at the FRC, and similar wholesome, non-hateful things like that.

All reality shows run two to four months or so behind because of filming so that'd never happen. It becomes a bigger gap when there's a break in the filming.

Four months ago or one month ago, show us what was happening besides wedding planning, baby announcements, and JB making references to his kids' sex life.

Come on TLC, show us something different. One of their church services. A day in the life of Jana or Michelle (a REAL, ORDINARY day - no contrived family day trips for the cameras). A day in the life of their living/dining/kitchen areas (wall-mounted cameras and everyone wired for sound - so they stop mugging for the camera actually slip into some kind of reality).

Exactly. Show the wedding- show the birth and move on to something other than last year's news.

All of these people (27 people with the spouses and kids) agreed to be on this show. We've had an "all about Jill" episode. So why not one all about Jana? How about Joy-Anna or Josiah? Basically, if you're gonna give one kid a whole episode about them, do it for everyone. We watch for the family (and to snark), not just for Jill and Derrick and Jessa and Ben.

Exactly. I do not need to see 5 episodes of wedding planning or OB visits- Move on to something else. Sow the wedding and birth and MOVE ON to something/someone else.

We know there's more going on then just everyone lining up to be blessed by mother Jill. I mean, come on! It wasn't even like this when J'chelle was pregnant with Jordyn and Josie, and it wasn't like this with the M children. I'd be interested in seeing how they're schooling the kids now days, and what curriculums they use. What do the boys do in their down time? I'd ask about Jana, Jinger, and Joy-Anna, but we all know what they're doing. Just show me something other than Ben's smug face and Jill's pregnant stomach. PLEASE.

Jimboob is one smart businessman. By getting TLC to have shows about the couples , pads the couples pockets giving them enough money for a comfortable monetary future. Its not about waiting for the gravy train for the Duggars to stop by TLC but how we should be trying to figure out how to stop it. Does that make sense. Even now same story lines with different duggar family members have been show til we can't stand to see the shows anymore but TLC keeps repeating them. What will it take to get the Duggars off TLC?

I would love to see someone say that pregnancy isn't all glorious and what not. I would love to hear a complaint about being sick, or something! Pregnancy and childbirth isn't all sunshine and unicorn farts.

Yeah. What if someone had to be hospitalized the way the Duchess of Cambridge was? Would they be showing vomit pictures on TLC? They have before. Would they show her in a hospital gown? I'm betting she'd be swaddled up so much nothing would show.

Remember, "the sickness is a reminder of all the wonderful things happening inside!"

All those women who go through 9 months of hell should be grateful for their illness! Praise God! Nausea is so SWEET! Gestational diabetes is so NEAT! Such FUN BLESSINGS from the Lord!!!

Just please, please, please START with the wedding--we've seen all the build up crap (almost identical) for 2 Duggar weddings now. Wedding, way too much foreplay p.d.a. on the Paris honeymoon (so modest), then hours of Jill rubbing her tummy and calling Derrick "Babe" and them kissing too much--because THEY CAN!! and Boob and JCheele musing over seasons of life and Kissing and dryhumping and other gross behavior. Then we'll see a charity project, a "fun" day, Josh/Anna as Anna "struggles" to become a mom of FOUR!!! Wow! So much more LAUNDRY! So much more GROCERY shopping!! And maybe, if we're good, we'll get to see her fight DC traffic (at 6 am on a Saturday by special TLC arrangement) and take the kiddos to....wait for it........the DENTIST. Then FAMY will act stupid and pretend she's a singer who doesn't trade on her mother's maiden name. Grandma will look exhausted, some child will pick their nose, another will chew with mouth open and there will be sewage.

There saved y'all hours of boredom.

My sweet pup was diagnosed with a brain tumor in September. She passed away in my arms on Thanksgiving morning. It all happened so fast. She didn't want to eat anything the day before, but prior to that was ok. Knew it was near time and had booked an appointment to take her next week. However, she decided for me. She was only 8 and really was one of the best dogs. She never met a stranger, human or dog. Life isn't the same without her.

I made my first Granny Square! After nearly 30 years of knitting and crocheting this was a project I never did. Until now! I needed something to do with my rest of very colourful yarn and now I am very happy. I need to try different needles with my yarns but I think I found something nice for the future.
I needed only 3 different youtube videos until I found a person who explained the concept slowly and repetitive and with words I can understand. I hate when these tutorials make me feel dumb.

Someone please remind me to buy peanut butter. Seriously, I have been meaning to get some for at least three weeks, and everytime I remember, the shops are already closed!

We had to put our 14 year old dachshund, Trinket, down today.  She was fine Thursday, but by mid-morning yesterday, it was apparent that something was really wrong,  She had zero energy, lost her appetite and began walking into corners.  By morning I knew it was time for her to have her final visit to the vet.  She had lost about a pound and a half recently.  RIP, Trinket!

Horrific! A 6 year old boy was murdered, and mother severly injured, in a hate crime in Chicago. Reports say they are both Palestinian Muslims and were specifically targeted because of that. Thankfully the man who did it is in custody
      This is pure evil
