If there was no reward for doing bad things no one would do them. Good things happen to bad people and no good deed goes unpunished makes me wonder about God

I don't buy that whole "he served his time" and "he paid his debt" bullshit. What does that do to repair the damage to the victim? Nothing. Every convicted molester should have a life penalty of 25%, at minimum, of all earned income going to the victim, and 95% of all lottery winnings. I'm being generous on that by letting the fucking rotten asshole keep 5%.

Exactly. Yet defenders keep defending him. I commented I bet they would stop defending if someone they knew close to them was a victim of these jerks. I tried telling that to DH. It is bad enough he stole food stamps and had other charges but doing that to a child is just something you shouldnt overlook and say oh he served time and hasn't been in trouble in x years. Several years ago a MA convicted child predator won $14 mil and used it to bribe victims. I guess when these lotteries were instated no one thought of this.

I see nothing wrong with him winning. He won it just like everyone else. And no amount of money is going to undo the damage he did to his victims. So let him do whatever with it
