Something fishy on Reddit

I went to A Beka schools from middle school until I graduated. We were taught creationism, and there was a definite downplaying of the atrocities committed by westerners (during the colonization of other countries, primarily), but these claims sound like BS to me.

It is. She is scamming. I emailed the admins. I went through an IFB school til 10th grade (it was the only private school in town and I needed a small student-teacher ratio; my mom is an agnostic socialist) with Abeka and BJU and this is BULL.

I reported it around 6 am. It violated the reddit TOS. You cannot raise money from members per the rules.

I actually sent a very detailed report along with info on Razing Ruth and Quiverfull and the religion she was posting about seems very much an amalgam of several different versions with lots of buzzwords. Don't know if it was my report that did it, but I kinda hope so!

I just strapped a small barrel of brandy to a ferret's back. It's only the size that a St. Bernard would wear on his collar, but it should tide you both over until the rest of the wine gets there.

AD wasn't a fake in the way that RR was a separate persona. She was....um....I'm not even sure what to call her. Eternal Victim? Attention Whore? Troll?

Essentially she said "help I am trying to escape my fundy life," but then had 38829347293847234987 reasons why she couldn't and had been doing the same thing on forums prior to FJ for like 10 years or 5 years or something like that.

Emotional Vampire might be a good description. She never asked for money or anything, but she was a definite "resource hog" on the forum during her time here.
