My bet is he has promised someone--Amanda, his pastor, someone--that he would never read here again. So he has to keep up the pretense that he doesn't.

Or if he truly does have someone registered here to keep an eye on us, and reports every minute detail to him, please introduce yourself! I will welcome you and take back every accusation of Robert reading here and being dishonest (about this particular issue).

You know... there's one way to know for sure. Someone posts a comment on his blog and then admits to that persona here. If the comment is removed, we know he's lying. Otherwise, he has to keep the comment up KNOWING that someone tricked him. :P

Here is the thing about lying like most people breathe. Even if you are telling the truth about something, no one is going to believe you anymore.

We have caught him in so many lies, fibs, exaggerations etc, if he told me it was raining I would look outside to double check.

So he can say whatever he wants, chances are slim I'm going to take his word for it. On this particular thing, I don't believe him because it's clear he responds to things that happen here. Having someone read here for you is the same as reading here. If you TRULY don't want to know what is being said here, you don't look at the site, you don't ask other people to look at the site, etc.

It's silly anyway. He's an adult. Read the site. Don't read the site. Who cares? What kind of Godly adult manly man headship leader type doesn't have the WILLPOWER not to just stop clicking on the link to Free Jinger, ffs?

I can understand if you have a true addiction, like with gambling or alcoholism willpower is different. I personally think porn "addictions" *can* happen, but are HIGHLY over diagnosed (particularly when they are self-diagnosed by fundies (or men, in general) who want to have their cake and eat it too).

If you have a true addiction (vs a lack of willpower) to Free Jinger, you need to get thyself to a therapist stat because we are a snark site and you probably have something else going on in your life that needs to be worked out.
