Is that the Erin Bates Paine canopy? If so, did you just do it so that Ben would have to sleep under a princess canopy?

If so, I love you.

I just hope some people send them some "gifts" that they couldn't go buying themselves at this point, even if they wanted to. Stuff like condoms, or a book about NFP or evolution :pink-shock: . Not that they would be forced to use them, but at least they had a chance to explore some things which were out of their reach. Although, the gifts are probably closely monitored by J'Chelle and Boob anyway, and anything not ATI-approved will get seized.

[dir=ltr][/dir] I decided to on whim. I sent them a pack of condoms with a message to join their marriage.

No no no! Not when there are people in the world who are in genuine need of help.

I eould get Jessa a real science book. It teaches you everything :pink-shock: it's probably going to get thrown away.

I would buy Jill a one way ticket to real mid wife college. Full paid tuition and everything. Of course that will get thrown out too

I bet anything if you did send something, you'll start getting tracts and ads in the mail...Personally, I'd be more terrified of a fundie freak having my address than when I had a death row pen pal ... Least HE couldn't get to me.

Eh I spent $10 on the condom so I don't feel bad. But moved to a highly religious area and some how watch the druggars sadly have helped me understand this very unfamiliar area i been relocated to.

I wouldn't send gifts to celebrities I like, much less those parasitic assholes. Though I'm mean and immature enough to amuse myself with thoughts of sending them condoms, vibrators, and some really good porn.

I wondered if any "fans" would actually send them gifts, because of course this is the sad way I spend my spare time. Then I realized of course fans would, since there are some Duggar crazed people out there.

I really wanted to send Jill a sewing machine. I have several extras that would have been 10 times the machine she got. But you know as much as I wanted to do that I also realized her dad should be the one doing that not me. Then I felt even worse for her.

I was on Jessa's Instagram and on one of the pictures someone was claiming they sent her seven gifts. Another person claimed they sent her gifts (plural) as well. So yeah, they're sending gifts.

Has anyone looked to see if Jessa and Ben boy are getting all those gift cards purchased off their registry?

Posted

My question is, which of you besides nst got thank-you notes?

kjmackin, I'm wildly curious as to whether or not you'll get a note from Jessa about the condoms.

Someone should send a card saying "I'm sorry I couldn't send one of the gifts you registered for because money is tight, so I made this month's donation to (insert charity here) in your name. I hope you'll understand." Not-so-subtle jab at their greed.

Can you ship a bulk amount of Condoms?

Not sure about how it works in the USA, but in the Netherlands you have a site which sends you free condoms in an anonymous package. So in theory you could spam them with anti contraceptives.

If I had any hope at all in my mind, even the tiniest glimmer of it, I would totally be willing to spend money on sending them condoms.

But I don't. Those things would go straight in the trash. They don't appreciate being made fun of and would never be able to see it as anything but a rude gesture, even if the intent was genuine.

How do you even send someone something that's not on their registry? Isn't the address hidden?

And to answer the question, no, I did not buy any gifts and never will. I do genuinely want beautiful weddings and happy lives for all the Duggar kids, but FFS...they're already getting tens of thousands of dollars of gifts from strangers. I can't even afford to buy myself nice things, I'm not going to spend real money so Jessa can have four jars of pink Himalayan salt.

@Rescinded and Mended . I'm courious too which is why I did it. Ettitque wise if they hated the gift they should still send a thank you card.

@CorruptionInc . Yes, you buy in bulk on amazon as well as sign up for a subscription which would allow you to get them as a discounted price.

@eh02 . Yes, you can. What I did was search their registry and selected an item that was on there like one of their stupid gift cards ( by the way it appears most of them are still on there as will as the apple products). Placed it in my cart and then selected a pack of cheap condoms. Went to my cart proceed to order and then edited the cart which allowed me to unselect the gift card but still send the condoms to the address they had on file. It was rather simple procedure to do.

Amazon might have a subscription service. ;)

I did not send anything and am not planning to. However, if I did it would be a bottle of wine, condoms, and 2 cigarettes for "afters".
