Sorry if this has already been posted, but did anyone else notice that Netflix is removing 19 Kids and Counting this week? You have until October 5th to snark. I wonder if this coming from TLC or Netflix?

All TLC shows are being removed from Netflix. It was supposed to happen September 26th but got pushed back. I heard something about discovery channel doing their own type of streaming site.

Oh, well that kind of sucks and now I feel out of the loop, lol. I was hoping there was some drama behind this, like Netflix realized that they didn't want to help promote the show.

Oh no, I'll have to quickly rewatch a few old 'faves' before they go!

It's really a bummer because that was the only method i had to watch it  now it's just going to be the scraps that are on youtube and TLC/Duggar site

Discovery is going the pay route. It seems everything related to the Duggars (and current TLC shows) has been moved to pay-per-episode via Amazon and iTunes as their primary promoters.

Super bummed out about Netflix, since I love seeing how crazy they are in the early years.

Perhaps the Duggars struck up a new deal with TLC to limit sharing that crazy without being compensated.

I can only hope a season or two goes to Prime...

Oh no! I would rather pay a bit more for NetFlix and have it on there than all these other TV streaming sites that are popping up.

I have a friend who works for Discovery. I'll see if they have any insider information. :wink-kitty:

Maybe I'll also ask why such horrible people are getting money and glory and fame. But that question seems like a lost cause.

They have taken down a lot of the Duggar episodes that used to be available on YouTube too.

It sucks for me, cause I'd be perfectly willing to buy them from iTunes or Amazon, but those services are region locked, and 19 K&C isn't available in my region (Australia) cause the local cable provider has bought the rights to it and shows it at 2 am every third Thursday or something insane like that, a year after it screens in the US.

It's on Foxtel between 1 - 2am on Saturday nights at the moment. :angry-banghead:

Just let me buy it from iTunes. I'll pay the $2.99 happily. Is Foxtel really so invested in protecting its 1-2am Saturday demographic?

I live stream it when it shows in the US if I'm not at work, but if I miss that I can't see it unless it shows up on YouTube.

You can really tell how much worse Michelle's baby voice has gotten over the years from the intros.

It use to be 'That's me, I'm Michelle', now it's all 'Thats MEEEEEEEEE, I'm MIIIIIICHEEEEHLLE'.

It's horrible isn't it? :(
