Back in the 80s, whenever my sister and I got bored with the videos on MTV, we would flip to the PTL network to see what Jim and Tammy were up to. I liked Tammy; she had a good heart. Heritage USA actually looked like a fun place to visit, especially the water park.

Highly recommended reading-- Jay Bakker's book "Son of a Preacher Man."

This brings back such good memories! My BF and I would come home from high school in the 80's and catch the last 30 minutes of "Guiding Light." Then we'd settle in to switch back and forth between MTV and PTL. We loved us some Jim and Tammy Fay. :lol:
