The pilot stars Ron Pearlman who is carrying this show. I never paid much attention to his cting in other works. It will be interesting to see if he crosses over into scenery chewing like Jeremy Irons in Borgias. Dana Delaney, and the rest of the cast is doing a fine job. Great casting, writing, and directing across the board. One moment did take me out of the show, the shoutout to The Young & the Restless.

I've watched 4 Amazon Original pilots, this is the strongest so far.

I have only watched this one of the Amazon pilots. I liked it and it does seem pretty dark. The cast except for the guy playing the judge's friend were all good.

I agree, I wasn't taken with that casting choice either. However, I am feeling the assassin dude. I want more of his back story and conversion.

Thank you, this looks like a show that I would like. I enjoy Ron's acting. He was great on Sons of Anarchy.
